i had facetimed my best friend y/n and we talked for a bit, but she had to go because she's on set for her movie and it was time to film.
i put my head in my hands, contemplating my life.
i've had a crush on her since we started filming pjo together in 2022 and it's only grown since then.
she's beautiful, kind, smart, and holy shit is she talented.
acting with her is just so easy because it comes natural to her and i just follow her rhythm.
leena comes in my room breaking me out of my thoughts and flops on my bed.
"walker, you good?"
"no."
"is this about y/n?" people know about my crush on y/n like close friends, but only leena knows how bad it is.
"yeah. she's filming the kiss scene today."
"so? it's just acting, right?"
"yeah, but last night we were talking and she was telling me how she might have feelings for him. that's why she was so nervous about today."
leena's eyes widened. "woah, woah. there's no way. that girl is in love with you."
"you're as delusional as i am." i chuckle but it's not funny.
"i'm serious, i just don't think she's realized it yet. i mean, would you think about liking one of your best friends?"
walker looked up at his sister and pursed his lips. how oblivious is this girl?
"oh yeah... right."
"UGH I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!" i shove my face in my pillow.
"why don't you just make a move?" my sister suggested.
"like how?"
"kiss her when she gets home."
"leena, did you by any chance smack your head against the wall and acquire a concussion?"
"i'm serious. you guys have been friends for so long. she won't know what your hinting at unless you're blunt."
why is she lowkey making a point?
"okay... i think i could do that." i say trying to convince myself.
leena smiles then gives me a hug.
