i was sitting in my trailer, going over lines before my next scene. i was freaking out a little because today is the big kiss scene with mason and i so i had to make sure i was prepared with knowing my lines. i then get a facetime call from my best friend.

"HEY Y/N/N!" walker yells through the phone.

"hi walk!" i giggle a little. "what's up."

"nothing, i miss you. i really wish you were here right now." i start blushing immediately.

wait, am i blushing? at walker? my best friend?

no.

i think i'm just a little stressed out right now, especially considering the kiss scene today...

"you just saw me this morning." i chuckle. "but i wish you were here too, i'm freaking out right now."

"are you okay? what's going on cutie?"

ok walker, you need to stop making me blush right now.

"nothing, just a very important scene." i can't tell him, it's confidential but it's also a rom com movie so it's pretty obvious it's about kissing.

"oh." he then starts wiggling his eyebrows at me.

i give him a death stare then i hear a knock on my door.

"COME IN!" i yell.

"hey y/n/n, they're ready for us." mason tells me. he sees i'm on the phone with walker. "hey walker!"

"hey man, what's up?"

"alright, let's go!" i stand up and start walking out the door. "bye walk, i'll see you tonight." i say hanging up as mason and i are walking side by side.

"so... are you ready?" mason asks nudging my shoulder a little.

"as i'll ever be, i guess." i say looking down.

he stops in his tracks then gives me a hug.

"hey, no matter what happens, we'll always be friends." he says.

when we pull i way i playfully shove his forehead with my hand. "you dork."

he laughs and we arrive at set.

"how are you guys feeling?" the director asks us.

"good." we both say in unison.

"alright!" he clapped. "then let's get this show on the road!"

"cue lights! cue rain!" he yelled.

"wow, how cliche." i mumble to mason.

he just laughs.

i've never noticed how cute his laugh is. i just smile at him, feeling more confident in the scene we're about to take.

"and... ACTION!"
