Double Trouble was free to follow Adora around wherever in the castle she went. When Adora had to leave, guards were posted outside of her room to keep Double Trouble confined. Oh well, an entire room was certainly better than that miniature cylinder of a cell. They still had not changed out of their Catra form, not even when they were alone or sleeping. They weren't dull; anything could happen. Anyone could catch a glimpse of them out of form and then their performance would be ruined.

Catra wouldn't be pleased, either. I might get a pay-cut. Double Trouble thought ruefully.

Adora did a lot of staring, like right now, from across the room on her mountain of pillows where she slept. Double Trouble knew that she was hopelessly infatuated with her former feline friend, and anyone with eyes would see that as well. Having an audience did not bother them, they were in fact pleased to have Adora around.

"Use one of those communicator pads to take a picture. It'll last longer." Double Trouble called to their blonde companion.

Adora immediately became flustered, shuffling to turn away from Double Trouble and averting her eyes.

Double Trouble leaned over the bed they had stolen from her.
"Aw, you can look at me. I was just messing with you."

"I wasn't staring." Adora lied. "I was thinking and I-I just happened to be facing in that direction and-"

Double Trouble cut her off with a snorting laugh. They were proud of their Catra impression.
"You can look at me." They repeated.

Adora slowly turned back to look at them.
"Okay..."

"See? I'm harmless." Double Trouble crooned.

Adora wrinkled her nose.
"Uh huh. That's why you shattered reality, I'm sure."

Double Trouble hadn't the faintest idea what that meant.

"I'm sure you put everything back together." They said with feigned sweetness.
"She-ra..."

Adora stiffened, her focused scowl deepening.
"And I'll do it again for whatever you're planning now."

"I'm sure you will." Double Trouble purred patronizingly.

Before Adora could splutter out a reply, there was a knock at the doors. A voice Double Trouble recognized from the battle in the Crimson Waste called out, muffled by the thick material of the doors. It was exactly who they needed to sink their claws into next; Adora's friend, Bow.

"Adora!" Said Bow, "Can I come in?"

"Yes, please." Adora called back.

Bow entered, looking only too enthused as he held out a very ordinary looking golden arrow. He gave Double Trouble a sort of half-smile; he alway showed a strained politeness towards them. Adora reached out and took the arrow as Bow handed it out to her.

"What's this?" Adora peered at the shiny rod.

"I fashioned a prototype for a new arrow." Bow explained. "Once shot, this puppy will debilitate anyone with a super powerful shock. The waves it sends out will also have anyone nearby caught in it too, so it's perfect for long distance!"

Double Trouble watched boredly as Bow prattled on about his new weapon. They were not the least bit interested in menial war tasks. Bow was not very interesting, he was a mediocre audience at best, and Double Trouble could maybe see why Catra was jealous that so much of Adora's attention was taken up by him.

"What if you shoot one and you don't see one of our friends nearby?" Adora asked. "They could get hurt."

"Hmm... Good feedback." Bow said as he took back the arrow and placed it into his bag.
