15. follow the leader (I wanna see ya)

you chose: follow the ride!

"lets follow the ride, we have to be quick"

we all ran as the tarbo was biting the animotronics.

but it didnt take me long to notice we were missing somebody.

darius.

I quickly ran back, watching as he attempted to tip toe away from the tarbo.

I quickly pulled him into a bush, sitting quietly.

but that didnt work, the tarbo found us.

I shielded darius' body with my own.

I whispered to him, anything I could to help him through this, when all of a sudden, there was a roar.

toro.

we quickly got up and ran as toro and the tarbo duked it out.

"your safe!" sammy sighed out, relieved.

"where were you?" brooklyn asked.

"toro!" I gasped out panting.

"tarbo." ben said, not even looking at me.

I stared at him, what was his problem?

"no idiota. toro. he was there, toro and tarbo are fighting. we need to find the food as fast as we can."

"two dinosaurs stalking us. great." yaz said.

"not us, me! the nest I woke up in must've been the tarbo's. she thinks im a threat to her family. I need to get rid of it."

I gasped, "the rollercoaster! theres a-"

I didnt get to finish, as I was RUDELY. interrupted by toro and tarbo making their way inside, still fighting.

ben pulled me along with him as we hid with kenji, yaz and sammy.

brooklyn and darius were across from us, "we found it!"

"guys! if we dont get out of here now, we'll end up dino dinner!" kenji whispered to them.

"but I think we just found the food!" brooklyn replied, "if we can just get into the hatch without them noticing."

"that tarbo can smell Darius, remember?" kenji reminded us.

"im telling you, we can get in, we just need a distraction." brooklyn said to darius.

I watched as the gears turned in his head.

"ill distract it, you guys get in."

before I could protest, he was up and running.

I tuned the others out of my head as I focused on darius. it wasnt until ben had shook me that I realized they had opened it.

but I couldnt go in without darius.

I waited anxiously as he ran back. as soon as he was in arms length I grabbed him and jumped out the hatch, groaning as he landed on top of me.

"is this..brimfords bunker?"

"yeah, it is"
