(Scene took place 15 years ago, before the current time.)
"She's so adorable!" Green squeals in a high pitch tone, grabbing Red's attention.
He proceeds to roll his eyes as she continued to yap about how 'kawaii', 'cute', etc at the new member of their family.
"Ew... You think that uggo thing is cute?" He shivered at the thought.
Green frowned, "hey! That's mean. She's not uggo! Blue, tell Red that she isn't!!"
The unicorn filly looks at her then Red then back to her with an expression that says 'do I really have to?'
Green moved Yellow to the front, "Yellow is cute."
Red squinted.
"Uh-huh."
Yellow had her tongue sticking out and cutely 'boop' Red.
A hoof knocked on the side of the door of their play room.
"Hey skittles, look who came to see you!" The stallion exclaimed.
Ace placed 'that uggo thing' next to them and it stared at them.
When Green started to rant about it again, he looks at the thing as it began to cry.
Unconsciously, he gently patted its head and it looks up at him.
The eye contact made him feel something.
"Wisteria is the name we decided on," Ace softly stated.
Wisteria had stopped crying and started giggling.
That's when it clicked.
An oath that wasn't needed.
From now on, he knew he was going to protect that smile of hers.
If anypony dares to make Wisteria cry, he will greatly make them pay.
And he wouldn't care what lengths he will take to do so...
Even if he had to make the world around him turn to red.
