ELISE POV

"Arghhh! I was irritable and turned off my alarm clock and sat down with my eyes closed.

I looked out the window and the sun hadn't risen yet, why did my alarm go off in the morning when the sun hadn't risen yet as far as I remember it would go off before eight o'clock because at 9 o'clock the beginning of my class. AVERY! I know she changed it because I heard her enter my room last night before I went to sleep. That kid! She knows I'm about to wake up late because I was drunk last night.

"Fuck!" I got up and went to the bathroom to do my morning routine.

When I finished, I went out and went to the kitchen to cook breakfast for my two sisters, you know we don't have a maid at home because we are already used to housework.

When we were young, our parents trained us to be able to fend for ourselves and not depend on the other.

When I came downstairs, I was surprised to find Avery sitting in the living room drinking coffee.

"You know you're not allowed to have coffee Avery" I snorted here causing him to startle in shock.

"That's why I said, That coffee will keep you awake" I teased her and she narrow her eyes on me. I then headed to the kitchen and began searching through the fridge to decide what to cook.

"We ran out of milk so I had coffee instead, just thought I'd give it a try," they replied, sitting down at the stall.

"Why didn't Callie go grocery shopping yesterday?" I asked while beating the eggs.

"Hmp, that girl forgot to buy my milk" she grumbled.

"But she managed to get beer" I grinned.

"Why did you wake up so early?" she asked while sipping her coffee, causing me to pause and face her.

"Hm, let's just say someone messed with my alarm clock" I replied with crossed arms, squinting my eyes as I looked at her, knowing she avoided my gaze as if innocent.

"I knew it was you, hm!" I said somewhat irritably, then she suddenly smiled as if she was being cute. Tsk! I continued cooking as Callie entered through the door and went straight to the fridge for water.

"Why are you guys so noisy this early?" she said, not in the mood, then left the kitchen.

"Why are you so moody this early?" I shouted back to her.

"Whatever" came her annoyed reply from the living room.

"Your sister must be on her period again" I joked to Avery, and she just giggled.

I continued cooking, mindful not to be late again and risked another scolding from my terror professor who always singled me out in class.

Once done, I went upstairs to change.

Before heading into the bathroom, I checked my messages and saw one from Dayne. Tsk!

From: DAYENO

No classes with Miss Enrile, let's play billiards, picke me by my condo, my car's suspended.

To: DAYENO

No, I still have things to do at the library.

It seems like I'm really unlucky today, another nuisance to ruin my day.

Maybe the married couple next door had another fight, Dayne tied up too early.

I tossed my phone onto the bed and headed to the bathroom. I heard it vibrate again, but I ignored it; I knew it was just that annoying person bugging me.
