DAYNE POV

When I entered the condo, two pairs of evil eyes looked at me. Oh, god help to save my life.

" You're late, Miss Ferrer" She said it was cold so I quickly took off my shoes and put my bag on the sofa to get closer to her.

She is now wearing her old university uniform when she was still my professor. My wife is 26 and I'm 22. We're not the same age but it's not far from the age gap, so when she resigned, I married her right away.

"I was just talking to Gab you know she's broken to your friend, so shall we continue our role play Miss Flores?" I said with a smile and she smiled back so when I was about to kiss her she suddenly pulled away.

"No, I've lost my appetite to feed you, go get the laundry and cook I'm hungry" she said and went to the room. I scratched my nape and looked at her.

Ahhh! Such a whipped ass Calista Dayne Ferrer!

ELISE POV

A dimly lit poolside at night. I sit by the edge, lost in thought, puffing on an electric cigarette, the glow faintly illuminating my face. Then suddenly my sister approaches, carrying a can of beer, and sits beside me.

"Mind if I join you?" She said and sat beside me.

"Where's avery?" I asked her while taking the can of beer she handed me.

"Ow, she's asleep by now her head is aching so badly" she answered and opened the can of soda. I nod and quickly look away.

" I can't imagine what you're going through. But just you to know, avery and I here for you, no matter what." She tapped my shoulder.

"Thanks. It means a lot." I bitterly smiled and took a sip of my can.

Silence envelops both us for a moment as I gaze out at the shimmering water, the only sound being the soft lapping of waves against the pool's edge.

"Remember when we used to come here as kids, pretending we were mermaids?" She chuckled, yah! I remember when we were kids back then.

"Yeah, those were simpler times." I chuckled softly.

"Sometimes I wish we could go back to that innocence, you know?" I can sense the sadness in her voice.

"Me too. But I guess life had other plans for us." I sighed.

"Definitely, look at you crying for that ugly lady" And she burst out loud.

"Yah, don't bring her up" I glared at her "I'm trying to move on, okay"

"You better be , cause if you don't I'll make her suffer and make her beg for your forgiveness" She smiled wickedly and finished her drink then jumped into the pool. What the!

"And you better be out of the water now, Callie!" I shout at her, I don't like what she's going now it's late you know she might get cold and get sick.

"Come, join me to refresh your mind" I'm about to answer when my phone vibrates.

I quickly open and it's her. My hand is shaking right now, my heart beats faster when I read her message.

Can we talk? Meet me at the park near your house.

"Who's that?" Callie asked and I nervously looked at her, I know she's getting mad if I tell her.

"It's Dayne, she asked to drink with Max" I lied to her. I'm sorry dumpling this will be the last I promised.

"Can I go?" She was about to go out of the pool when I stopped her.
