Earth. The third planet revolving around a star. The only known planet capable of sustaining life in the star system.
The year is 2040, the world is currently moving into communicating with other lifeforms in the known universe.
One of the agencies designated to doing this kind of communication is NASA.
They have sent a spacecraft, named Voyager 1.
NASA has been communicating with Voyager 1 non-stop for 77 years. However, they have not received any response from the spacecraft.
Little did they know, the response was already sent by the other side.
Inside NASA's Headquarters, an alarm has been ringing for hours.
"We have incoming unidentified flying obejects!" An officer said as he stares at his monitor
"How many?!" Another officer asked as he stares at his monitor
"We have confirmation that it's three objects!" Another officer shouted as he stares at the main monitor
"What's the situation?" The director said as he stares at the main monitor
"We have three unidentified incoming objects hurdling towards Earth at the speed of light." An officer answered
"What's our timeline?" The director asked as he stares at the monitor
"3 hours maximum." An officer answered while looking at his monitor
The director nods before pressing a red button at his station
"Authorize ZEUS's deployment." The director ordered as he stares at the main monitor
"Roger." An officer said as he hold his radio "ZEUS deployment has been authorized. Commence full assault." The officer radioed
ZEUS, named after the leader of the Greek Gods. It is a weapon designed to destroy asteroids and meteors that are deemed dangerous to Earth's population. It is rotating the Earth inside a satellite and is fully controlled by NASA.
"ZEUS fully armed." An officer said as he stares at the director
"Fire when ready." The director said as he stares at the main monitor
"Target in range..." The firing officer said as he stares at his scope before firing
ZEUS fired three rods at the speed of light hitting the UFOs, obliterating two.
"Direct hit!" An officer shouted
"One last..."The director said as he stares at the main monitor with a surprised expression while a blinding light covered the entire monitor
The connection to the ZEUS got cut and they all looked at the main monitor with a surprised expression
"What happened...-" The director asked before a massive explosion destroyed the entire NASA headquarters
The entire country of the United States are notified of the destruction but even them who has the most advanced and the most powerful army in the world stood no chance to the total annihilation that the UFO brought.
The UFO landed in the now destroyed United States and slowly combined with the land.
The main body of the ship has landed and it dug towards the core of the planet while sending multiple crafts towards every ocean.
The crafts that separated from the main body summoned multiple monsters that destroyed multiple countries in the span of three hours.
Humanity... stood no chance.
The remaining humanity have began building bunkers while the military of each countries have began working under one banner.
In every continent, the military forces have combined their strengths as they attacked the monsters in the land, sea, and air.
After a few years, several countries stood tall and became a safe haven for the humanity. One of these countries is the small island in the pacific, The Philippines.
In the country of Philippines, the soldiers are working endlessly evacuating the civilians with the help of it's navy and air force. Several countries have also deployed their soldiers as it defend it's country with several attacks day by day.
The year is 2042, in the capital of manila, a monster has emerged and attacked the walls of the shores
The military is immediately deployed. Seven battleships, thirteen helicopters and five tanks are already making preparations to attack the monsters.
"Tayo! Wag kang patanga tanga!" A soldier shouted while firing several small monsters while covering a man who is on the ground
"Salamat!" The man shouted before running away
"Anong klaseng ka putanginahan to?!" The soldier said as he killed several monsters while retreating
"Steven!" Another soldier shouted while running towards him
"Jim! Anong nangyayari?" Steven asked as he stares at the soldier
"Hindi sumasagot ang headquarters... yung communication naten cutoff na rin." Jim said as he stares at Lopez
"Problema to." Steven said as he reloaded his gun
"Paubos na rin ang bala ko. Kailangan na nateng umalis dito." Jim said as he stares at Steven
"Kailangan na nga naten." Steven said while noticing several explosions around them
"ano yon?" Jim asked as he stares in front of them and his eyes widened in horror
Steven stares at the multiple battleships, helicopters, and tanks in the air as a monster standing at 300 feet stood in front of them
"Putangina." Steven said as he dropped his gun
"Tara na!" Jim said as he pulled Steven's collar and run away
Steven gets dragged as he stares at the monster in front of them
"Wala tayong laban diyan." Jim said as he continued running towards the nearest parking lot
"Alam ko." Steven said as he picked up his pistol then cocks it before firing it at the small monsters in the area
"This is Sgt. Jim Santos. I am with Lt. Steven Lopez. We are in the 5th avenue, BGC. We need immediate QRF to our location over." Jim radioed before firing at the small monsters heading their way
"I'm out." Steven said as he threw his pistol at the incoming monster before pulling his sword and slashing it's body then threw a grenade inside before running to safety
The monster's body gets obliterated along with it's fellow monsters due to the size of the explosions.
"Hindi tayo tatagal ng ganito." Steven said as he pants while hiding inside a store
"Nasa mall tayo. Siguro naman may nagtitinda ng baril dito." Jim said while panting before throwing his rifle to the ground
"Siguro. Tara." Steven said as he carefully made his way inside the mall
The two soldier walked towards the mall scouring the place looking for a weapon that they could use to fight the monsters that are arriving in the area
"Hey. Lika dito." Steven said as he walk towards a crate inside a store
"Magiingat ka." Jim said as he pulled his pistol and his knife as he move behind Steven
"Mukhang hindi nagalaw." Steven said as he opened a flashlight inspecting the crate
"Teka, saten to. Anong ginagawa neto dito?" Jim asked as he stares at Steven
Steven stares at the crate before hovering the flashlight around the area and noticed several dead soldiers in the area
Jim's eyes widened as he stares at the dead soldiers whose body are missing parts. Mainly, their internal organs.
"Tangina." Steven said as he walked towards the dead body
"Magiingat ka baka may kung ano man jan." Jim said as he stares at Steven while covering his back
Steven walk towards the body and picked up a few rifles and a crowbar. He handed one rifle and a bag of ammunition to Jim before he opened the crate with the crowbar.
Jim whistled after seeing the contents of the crate.
"Merry Christmas." Jim said as he stares at Steven
"Alright. Let's load up." Steven said as he changed his clothes with the contents of the crate
"Possible rin na may dalang sasakyan tong mga to." Jim said while taking his clothes off
"Dun tayo dumiretso. Kailangan naten ng transportation pabalik ng HQ." Steven said as he picked up a rifle
The two of them geared up as they take the contents of the crate. They loaded their weapons and headed towards the nearest parking lot
"Clear left." Jim said as he take his position
"Clear right." Steven said as he take his position before gesturing for Jim to move
"Moving." Jim said as he move forward while checking for any signs of life
"Clear." Steven said as he noticed a man on the ground and walk towards it
A monster suddenly emerges from the darkness and lounge on Steven who falls to the ground
Jim and Steven immediately opened fired and hit the monster in the head multiple times killing it
Steven stood up while noticing that the man's body is connected to the monster's
"Dumi mo." Steven said as he fired two more shots to the monster's head before moving forward
"Let's try and not die." Jim said as he move forward
"Copy that." Steven said as he followed Jim
The two continue moving forward before they saw an abandoned military car and they immediately commandeered it.
The two of them drove out of the mall and the city while driving on the empty streets of BGC towards their headquarters.
Jim is the one driving while Steven is firing at the monsters dashing towards their vehicle
At the front of the headquarters, the barricade of the soldiers is under attack but they are holding their line
"Sir, we spot a vehicle arriving. It's one of ours." A soldier said as he stares at the commanding officer
"Check for survivors and monsters in the area." The CO ordered as he stares at the soldiers
"Yes, sir." The soldier said while checking his scope "No monster sighted in the area. The vehicle is a military armored car. The driver is Sgt. Santos and it's passenger is Lt. Lopez." The soldier said while looking at Jim
"Those two made it out? Good." The CO said as he ordered for the barricade to be opened
The two entered the barricade and they parked right besides the CO
"Captain, Sir." Steven said as he saluted the CO
"Captain!" Jim said as he saluted the CO
"Good work getting back alive..." The CO said as he stares at Steven and Jim
"We lost our team. The monsters are arriving in droves. We can't fight them out with one platoon." Steven said as he stares at the CO
"There's also that ridiculously large monster at the harbor." The CO said as he stares at the snipers
"No movement on sight, sir." The sniper said as he stares at his scope
"Good. Let's reinforce this area and let's begin pushing these bastards out." The CO said as he loaded his weapon
"Yes, Sir!" the two soldiers shouted as they move towards the barricade
"We can't settle down here. We need to move out eventually." The CO said as he stares at the barricade before shifting his gaze at the sky
Jim and Steven notice a large shadow covering the entire headquarters prompting them to look up and both of them are horrified as they see the monster on the harbor landing in the base
The base is destroyed immediately upon impact as the ground collapses. Several soldiers are crushed at the foot of the monster as it stood up
"Jim!" Steven shouted as he cough while looking all around him
"I'm here!" Jim shouted as he run towards Steven
"Where's Captain?" Steven asked as he stares all around him
"Captain-" Jim said as his eyes widened in horror as he stares at the body of the CO with it's head crushed by a rock
"Shit..." Steven said as he stares at the monster in front of them destroying the entire base
"We can't defeat them..." Jim said as he stares at the monster
In the pit of despair both soldiers accepted their deaths but then a ray of hope appeared when a laser blasted a hole at the monster, killing it in one shot
The two soldier stares at the direction of the laser and their eyes widened when they saw a rail gun front of them
"Force Recon, unit 1 Captain, Shinomiya. On duty." Shinomiya said as he disassembled the rail gun on his arms as he stares at the monster with a stoic expression
