The troop members have slowly adjusted to their lives inside the base of the Squad 1.
After a few days after the incident with the unidentified monster, the recruit who died was given a military funeral.
Weeks have passed and the recruits began their training in the classrooms.
5:30 AM, Philippines. The troop members are already doing their early jog.
The trainees are all waking up and they all prepare for their training. All of them lined up in the bathroom and brushed their teeth
Steven and Jim joined them and they all sleepily showered before they all head to the training room with their gears on.
"Seems like everyone is sleepy." Leno said as he stares at the recruits
"Oh. Yes." Steven said as he sat on the chair
"Alright. Let's do the roll call." Leno said as he stares at the class "Let Adham." He said while looking at the man in the right with black long hair, standing at 5'7 feet. Caucasian and has overall good body, the perfect soldier
"Present." Let said as he stares at Leno
"Barry Aidley." Leno said as he stares at the man besides Let who has brown short hair, standing at 5'9 feet. Caucasian and has a buffer body.
"Present." Barry responded sleepily
"Janice Banbrook." Leno said as he stares at the girl sitting besides Barry who has a blonde hair tied in a pigtail, standing at 5'4 feet. Skinny, half-Asian, half-American.
"Present." Janice said as she waved her hand and lay her head to the table
"Jean D'rippe." Leno said as he stares at the man sitting besides Janice who has a short blonde hair with a bowl cut bangs, standing at 5'7 feet. French who is fluent in English.
"Present." Jean said as he flipped his bangs while crossing his legs
"Robert Davis." Leno said as he stares at the man with bald head sitting behind Let, standing at 5'9 feet. Caucasian and a buff body. The biggest in the training room.
"Present." David said in a deep tone while looking at Leno
"Dartnel De Beaux." Leno said as he stares at the lady sitting behind Barry with a long black hair and a bangs only covering her right eye, standing at 5'6 feet. French who is also fluent in English.
"Present." Dartnel said with her French accent while fixing her bangs
"Joichi Kaguragi." Leno said as he stares at the man sitting besides Dartnel who has a buzz cut, standing at 6'4 feet. Japanese, the former Japan Self-Defense force officer. The second buffest man in the room
"Present." Joichi said as he sit properly while looking at Leno
"Steven Lopez." Leno said as he stares at Steven
"Present." Steven said as he stares at Leno
"Jona Quartermane." Leno said as he stares at the girl sitting besides Steven who has a white hair on a ponytail, standing at 5'9 feet. Caucasian and the only one who got recommended by the General himself.
"Jim Santos." Leno said as he stares at Jim
"Present." Jim said as he stares at Leno
"Kalos Wahrook." Leno said as he stares at the man sitting besides Jim who has green long hair tied in a man bun. Standing at 5'9 feet. Asian who is barely fluent in English
"Present." Kalos said as he stares at Leno
"Everyone is here." Leno said as he stares at the class then walk to the locker in the right side of the room then entered a passcode that made the body suits and a computer emerges from the lockers "Wear your suits now. We will proceed with practical training today." Leno said as he stares at the recruits
The recruits walk to their suits as they slowly picked up their white boots and white shoulder pads before they pressed the chest of their suits as it connected with their bodies
Steven closed his eyes while wearing both of his suits while feeling the muscle fiber of the suits combining with his muscle fibers.
"Let's begin the class." Leno said as he smile before walking to the board "Alright. Today's class will be split into two. We will learn the classes of the monsters that we are facing. Let's begin with the weakest. Small monsters. They are standing at 3 feet tall, defense level of 2 and power level of 2 but it could rise the more human eat. Following them are the middle class. These monsters are standing at 5 feet tall. Their defense level varies from 5 and their power level are constant 7. Evolving from the middle class are the maximal class. These monsters are the level that most troop members couldn't fight alone. They need an entire platoon to fight as their defense level is 7 and their power level is 8. The last is the Omega Class. These monsters are the strongest one. They have the defense level of above 9 and a power level of above 10. They can destroy cities alone. It will take a Vice-Captain and a Captain with the full release of their suits to take it down." Leno said as he draw the monsters with their ranks
The recruits began writing notes as they stare at Leno with a confused expression
"Full release of their suits?" Let asked as he stares at Leno
"Yes. Your suit is currently at release power 0. However, by training with your suit everyday, it will also evolve until you can release your power levels." Leno said as he stares at the class
The class stare at Leno with a surprised expression before they stare at each other with a smile
"Now that we know what these monsters are capable. Let's talk about the Omega classes. There are 10 known Omega Class monsters. They are numbered from 1 to 10. Those numbered are already killed by the Recon Force and they are made as weapons. Those weapons are equipped by the captains." Leno said as he played a video of Shinomiya fighting with his weapon
The recruit stares at the video with an interested expression
"These are the power of the captains. You should look closely at the power of those who stand at the top." Leno said as he smiles widely "Sooner you will be able to stand besides them and fight." He continue as he stopped playing the video and opened the door "Now that we are acquainted, let's begin our practical training." He continue as he exited the room
The recruit stood up as they followed Leno to the training ground
The group walk towards Gate number 2 who is standing at 50 feet tall.
"This big ass door." Jim said as he checked his weapon
"Alright, huddle." Leno said as he stares at the recruits "Today you will be tasked to execute the small and middle class monsters trapped in this training ground. Don't worry, the Vice Captain Aoshiro and Captain Shinomiya is inside the training ground on standby to watch over the unidentified monster from attacking you guys." Leno said as he opened the door
"Let's see who can kill more." Barry said as he stares at the group
"The lowest do speak loud." Dartnel said as she prepares her weapon
"What was that, you bitch?!" Barry asked as he stares at Dartnel
"You heard me." Dartnel said as she stares at Barry with a glaring gaze
"You'll see." Barry said as he prepares his weapon
"Listen well. You will be able to draw out the power of your suits the more you kill stronger monsters." Leno said as he stares at the recruits "So, go wild." he said while smirking
The recruits shouted as they prepare to dash in
"This is control room." Long said as he stares at the monitor "The middle class monsters have began moving." He continue while looking at the monsters
"Begin." Leno said as he smiles widely as the soldiers dashes forward
Steven, Jim, Let, Joichi and Kalos are moving faster than everyone else as they begin killing smaller monsters and moved to clear the middle class monsters.
"Recruit Lopez, suit power level, constant 20%." Long said as he stares at the monitor "Recruit Santos, suit power level constant 20%. Recruit Adham suit power level constant 20%, Recruit Kaguragi, suit power level constant 25%, Recruit Wahrook, suit power level constant 20%." He reported as he stares at the power level of the suits
"Good work." Leno said as he smiles widely
"Those guys are really cut above the rest." Barry said as he killed three small monsters and pointed at the middle class but it got killed by Dartnel
"Slow." Dartnel said as she stares at Barry
"You bitch!" Barry said as she stares at Dartnel
"Keep moving." Jona said as she summoned a spear and slashed three middle class monsters in one swing
"Yeah." Barry and Dartnel said as they continue killing the monsters
"These guys are improving way faster than I thought." Shinomiya said as he watches the recruits with a smile
The recruits continue their killing and after thirty minutes they have cleared the smaller class and only a few middle class has been left.
"Let the game begin." Barry said as he dashes forward killing multiple middle classes "That's my 50th." He said while panting
Dartnel hopped on the buildings and fired multiple exploding rounds on to several middle class monsters "That's my 105th." She said while flipping her hair
"WHAT?!" Barry said as he stares at Dartnel
"Slow and weak." Dartnel said as she smiles widely but a middle class jumped from behind her and punches her
Dartnel's eyes widened as she gets pushed back as a massive man stood in front of her
"Don't just stand there." Robert said as he stares at the monster before swinging a sword from below slicing the monster in half
The rest of the class destroyed the middle class monsters and they all rested while sitting at whatever they can lean on
"Report. Leading kill, Recruit Lopez, 247 middle class. Second, Recruit Joichi, 230. Third, Recruit Santos, 200. They are the top three of today's batch. Meanwhile, the lowest, Recruit Aidley, 50 middle class." Long said as he stares at the monitor
Everyone laugh as they all hear Barry's score
"You don't have to say that!" Barry said while pouting as he lean against a wall
"Weak." Dartnel said as she smile
"Recruits, gather up." Leno said as he watches from the rooftop with Shinomiya
All recruits head towards the location of the two and they all rested with them
"Good job. You guys are improving at a rapid pace. I'm impressed." Shinomiya said as he smile "However, you still have a long way to go." He continue while looking at the recruits "Today marks the first day of your life as a troop member. Now, you will be ranked based on the power that you can utilize using your suits." He continue while looking at the recruits
The recruits stares at each other before nodding and shifting their gaze at Shinomiya
"Now that you are able to unlock the power of your suits, you will be taking tasks that are much more harder than this. You will now begin your final phase and the graduation is in sights." Shinomiya said as he smiles "Congratulations." He said as the recruits celebrated
"You can now take this time and celebrate." Leno said as he smile
The recruits all celebrated as they talk with each other while resting
Shinomiya and Leno watches with a smile on their faces as they stares at the scout in the watch tower giving signals of OK
"Right. Let's get back and have you guys take a shower before we eat." Leno said as he smile before walking towards the helicopter
All recruits followed him and they immediately went to the bath house where they enjoyed themselves.
The recruits began flexing their muscles as they talk about the mission.
Barry is pouting as he sat in the corner
"Hey. Don't sulk. You're the slowest but you got the highest accuracy among us. Meaning, you are working hard to get a proper kill." Steven said as he stares at Barry
"Is that right?!" Barry said as he smiles widely
"So, come on now. Join us." Steven said as he stand in front of Barry buck naked
"Dude." Barry said as he sighed
"Be proud of your manhood!" Steven said as he smiles widely while wiggling his butt
All the male recruits laugh as they watches Steven
"That's our best killer!" Let said while whistling
The group whistled as they stares at Steven
Steven placed both of his arms behind his head and began dancing while wiggling his butt
"LET'S GO!!" Barry said as he joined Steven wiggling his butt
The ladies sighed as they listen from the other side of the room
The group laughed as they continue joking and celebrating in the butt
In the control room, Long has been monitoring the outside of the walls while drinking his coffee
"You're making way too much effort into this." Shinomiya said as he stares at Long
"Well, you are here chilling." Long said as he watches the monitor "I'm just following our squad's motto." He said while smiling
"Ah. Be the predator in the world full of prey." Shinomiya said as he smiles widely
"Is this the same? You want me to prepare the training ground for the recruits?" Long said as he stares at Shinomiya
"Yeah but I want you to do something different." Shinomiya said as he smiles widely
"The recruits are working hard. I have to give my all to support them as much as I can." Long said as he stares at the monitor
"I'm thankful you are here with my squad." Shinomiya said as he smiles while patting Long's shoulder
"Thank you, Captain." Long said as he smiles widely
"Tomorrow, I want you to release two Maximal class." Shinomiya said as he stares at Long
"Are you sure?!" Long said as he stares at Shinomiya
"Yeah. Tomorrow we will know who will be able to graduate." Shinomiya said as he stares at Long
"There are people who can kill Maximal monsters in this class." Long said as he stares at Shinomiya
"Yeah but they're not a team. If they want to graduate they have to work together." Shinomiya said as he stares at Long
"I see. You want them to work together before the final exam." Long said as he stares at Shinomiya
"Yeah. Tomorrow we will see if they can work as a unit." Shinomiya said as he stares at the monitor
"Yes, Sir." Long said as he opened multiple doors and stares at the training ground
"Let's see how will they work against this." Shinomiya said as he smiles widely
