Chapter 27: New World Order

The purge continues...

In every town across Russia, the Recon Forces bases are attacked.

The 6th Squad base has been destroyed and abandoned as Kristof and his new forces have murdered every single troop members they can find

Kristof calls his new force, the Silverwing. The silver who will cut the wings of the Recon Force

One troop member have been able to avoid Kristof. His name is Sylvestre Edorad. He is a rank 1 troop member.

"I managed to survive thanks to the sacrifice of my platoon leader. I won't let his sacrifice be in vain." Sylvestre said as he blend among the crowd then wore a white cloak to not raise suspicions

He traveled away from the town and entered the forest with fear.

"This thick fog..." Sylvestre said as he stares at the fog in front of him then swing his arm in front of him and saw a village hidden in the fog

Sylvestre explore the village and notice that the houses are empty

"This thick fog. I can use it as a temporary hiding place. I have to escape to the 9th Squad base in England. It may take some time but I won't be wasting time." He said as he entered a house but his eyes widened when a sword is positioned on his throat

"Take one more step... And I'll slit your throat." A man said from the darkness

"I'm not... A hunter. I'm also running from them." Sylvestre said as he stares at the darkness

"Sylvestre?" The man said as he lowered his sword

"Who are you?" Sylvestre said as he stares at the darkness

"David." David said as he stares at Sylvestre then sighed before opening the lights

"Oh man. I'm so glad to find you here." Sylvestre said as he sighed then entered

"Me too. We can continue the fight." David said as he stares at Sylvestre

Sylvestre sat down and drink his water before exhaling then stares at David

"Bryan was beheaded yesterday. We're the last of us." Sylvestre said as he stares at David

David slammed the table to the wall while panting as he sobs

"Bryan was like a brother to us!" He shouted while crawling his fingers to the floor

Sylvestre clenched his fist while sobbing softly then look at David

The two of them consoled each other then they rested inside the house. They continued to try and find a way to communicate to no avail.

A few more days have passed and their supplies began depleting. They are now losing hope but their radios suddenly began receiving static and later Shinomiya's voice is heard

"This is Captain Sokita Shinomiya of the 1st Squad. Is there anyone receiving this?" Shinomiya said

"Yes! Yes! We are here!" Sylvestre said as he held his radio

"Who is this?" Shinomiya asked

"It's troop member David Bonacch. I am currently in Sector Delta-4 Bravo. Requesting immediate help." David said as he stares at Sylvestre

"Copy. Sit tight we are coming." Shinomiya said

"Thank you!" David said as he stares at Sylvestre with a meaningful stare

Meanwhile, in his quarters, Kristof is listening silently with a huge smile before ordering his men to find David and Sylvestre

A few days later, a crate was dropped in the river near the village. David and Sylvestre manage to pick it up saving them from hunger
