Chapter 49: The Aftermath

Sokita swing his sword upwards with everything he got behind his swing while gazing at the Queen's eyes

"It's over." The Queen said as she regrew her body while thorns exploded out of the Queen piercing through Sokita destroying his momentum

Every human stares at the monitor with a horrified expression as they stare at the Queen forming a massive rotating mass behind her

"Circle of Hell." The Queen said as she formed a rotating fiber, thorns, shards behind while levitating in the air "Farewell." She said before dropping it at Sokita

Sokita gritted his teeth as he tried to move but his legs are no longer responding to his mind as the Circle of Hell approaches his face

The Queen smiled as she formed a flaming arrow then fired it towards the Circle of Hell

Sokita summoned fibers inside his body and manipulated it and attach it to his muscles giving him control back to his legs. He immediately jump out of the way while squinting his eyes

"I avoided the initial attack!" Sokita said but his eyes widened in horror as the flaming arrow hit the fibers

"Pulse Blast." Marshaw said as he punches Sokita's side then blasted his body with his sonic blast increasing the beating of his heart

Sokita's eyes widened as he stares at Marshaw then extended his hand while trying to reach him

"Sokita. Win." Marshaw said before getting engulfed in a massive explosion that Circle of Hell created

The Queen and all of the humans stares at Marshaw with a surprised expression as he is engulfed in flames

Marshaw's eyes widened when the fibers exploded around him shattering his shield and blowing chunks of his body

"Taichou!!!" Sokita shouted as he then strengthen his resolve then he planted his feet to the ground then stares at Marshaw

"Sokita!! Don't waste this chance!!" Marshaw shouted on the radio before firing another pulse blast at Sokita's chest and at the Queen's body before coughing blood

Sokita's eyes widened as he gets hit with a pulse blast and it heavily increased the beating of his heart prompting him to change his direction then dashes towards the Queen

"That's every single bit of my strength!" The Queen said as she stares at Marshaw before her eyes shifted to the side as Sokita came at her peripheral vision

Sokita landed right in front of the Queen squatting while he stares at her with a determined look as he held the hilt of his sword tightly

"Shinomiya Family Technique, Creation: Dimension Slash." Sokita said as he swing his sword upward and slash the Queen's body along with her core

The Queen's eyes widened as the slash hit her body and her core. Her core started cracking and crumbled before it is split in half along with her body

The Queen blinked and her eyes widened as she stares at her husband standing right in front of her. although in a silhouette form

"Is this hell?" The Queen asked while looking around her and saw nothing but darkness

"No. Not yet. This is as far as one innocent man can go." The king answered before slowly materializing in front of the Queen

"I... have done terrible things." The Queen said as she lowered her head down

"You did, my love." The King said as he slowly held the chin of the Queen and raise it up "But, I suspect that you did it for the sake of your own justice." He continue while smiling softly at her

"I did. I tried to do what I needed and I... achieved it only to just continue on and things got out of hand." The Queen said while tears falls out of her eyes

"You did well and I appreciate everything you did for me... but it's not the right way." The King said as tears fall out of his eyes before caressing the Queen's cheek then wipes her tears

"All I ever wanted was justice for what the human race did to us and our kind." The Queen said as she held the King's hand then rubbed her cheeks on it

"I know. I understand and I will share the burden you will have to face that lies ahead." The King said as flames erupted around them

The Queen smiles as tears fall out of her eyes before wrapping her hands around the King's waist

"Did I made the wrong move?" The Queen asked herself as she stares at her hands crumbling "Have I... jhaglos...." She continue while tears fall out of her eyes

"No..." The King said before the both of them completely faded as the flames engulfed their bodies
