Chapter 20: Trouble

0013 blew the bodies of his monsters, destroying the wall, his minions and the majority of the troop members and soldiers inside the wall.

He walked out of the smoke with a huge smile on his face before it changed into disgust

"I'm feeling utterly disenchanted, humans." 0013 said as he stares at Shinomiya "You are supposed to be the better version yet here you are on my feet dismembered." He continue as he stepped on a body of a soldier with a stoic expression

Shinomiya silently took his position while staring at 0013's movements

"I even once considered that you actually are better than us." 0013 said as he stomp on the head of the soldier before staring angrily at Shinomiya

"I really wish I could see your point of view." Shinomiya said as he tilt his head "That way, I could see how pathetic your life is. It's making me gag." He continue while veins popped out of his face

0013 fired multiple long roots towards Shinomiya at a fast speed that slices through several metal

Shinomiya dashes forward as he slices through the roots before running towards 0013 then jump in the air before making a downward slash in an X position

0013 summoned a meat flesh to block Shinomiya's attack then split the meat into meat chunks before firing it towards Shinomiya

Shinomiya summoned his shield before spinning in the air and swing his arm towards 0013's neck

0013 jumps back but Shinomiya's slices the skin of his neck before he backflipped

Shinomiya presses forward and swings his swords in a different pace from each other

0013's eyes widened as he stares at Shinomiya's attacks trying to figure out the pattern but he can't keep up with his speed and pace

Shinomiya dashes forward and slices through 0013's chest before spinning and slamming his heel in 0013's face before punching it with the end of his hilt

0013 slapped the ground and blood roots appeared right from the ground giving him time to jump away from Shinomiya

Shinomiya slices through the roots while smiling before switching suit and fired his railgun right through 0013's chest

0013's eyes widened as he stares at the rail gun in front of him before immediately healing his body

Shinomiya smiles widely as he dashes forward and hops from debris to debris before jumping on the last one as a boost then swing his sword from below

0013 immediately summoned a flesh shield and raised his guard but the flesh shield, his arm and his shoulder got sliced through

Shinomiya landed on a rubble then jump from it and made a horizontal slash towards 0013

0013 jumps back right as Shinomiya swing his sword dodging his attack completely

Shinomiya stares at 0013 with a stoic expression before changing into a smile as he fired his railgun at point blank range

0013's eyes widened as he stares at the bullet before his head gets blown to bits

Shinomiya immediately switches to his swords then dashes forward to stab the body of 0013 when his head regenerated

0013 stares at Shinomiya with a huge smile before swinging his fist from below

Shinomiya raised his swords and blocked his attack but the impact blew him away shattering his blades in one attack

Shinomiya landed on his feet while summoning swords before jumping back and running towards 0013

0013 dashes forward as well meeting Shinomiya's speed as his arm changed form into a sharp blade that he slash downward

Shinomiya uses his speed to move around 0013's attack and slices 0013's body while moving around 

0013's vision got disoriented while trying to match Shinomiya's speed making him stumble

Shinomiya begins moving around and swinging his sword at 0013's body at irregular pace while keeping his position as he circle his body

0013 raises his guard as he tries to pick up Shinomiya's speed by using his instinct

"I can't pick up his speed..." 0013 said as he stares at Shinomiya moving around him "Then, let's see you dodge this." He said as while squinting his eyes as roots exploded from the ground destroying the landscape

Shinomiya's eyes widened as he jump in the air to avoid a follow up attack from 0013

"Thorn Scale." 0013 said as he formed thorny vines from the flesh of the monsters around him and fired it towards Shinomiya

Shinomiya hold the hilt of his swords tightly as he inhale before slicing through the vines as he flies towards 0013

0013 smiles widely as he made the vines explode and control the flesh right in front of Shinomiya

Shinomiya's eyes widened as he summoned a shield but it immediately shattered due to the amount of flesh flying at him at the speed of bullets and several parts of his body got hit and his blood spurts out to the battlefield

0013 smiles widely as he dashes forward with his arm that he extended and fired towards Shinomiya

Shinomiya stares at 0013 with a huge smile before jumping at his attack then stab his sword at his arm using it to slide towards 0013 before spinning and slicing his head clean

"Shit...! That attack is so fast!" 0013 said as he stares at Shinomiya before making his body explode

Shinomiya jumps back as he sliced through the flesh to protect himself while staring at 0013's head who regenerated his body

"Raining Flesh." 0013 said as he threw multiple waves of flesh bullets towards Shinomiya

Shinomiya stares at the flesh bullets as he activated his eye and dodges every single one of them without getting a scratch on his body

0013's eyes widened as he stares at Shinomiya before gritting his teeth as he threw more flesh bullets towards him

Shinomiya dashes forward with a stoic expression dodging every single attack then made a thrusting motion stabbing his sword towards 0013's body 

"But I jumped back to avoid his attack...! Fuck it's those eyes! Monster 001's eyes that can see the future!" 0013 said as he stares at Shinomiya

Shinomiya stabbed his other sword towards 0013's body and swing them to the side slicing his body before stabbing his forehead in an attempt to pierce his brain but 0013 immediately focused all of his consciousness to his brain that jump out it's skull then reformed his body once more

Shinomiya stares at 0013 with a stoic expression as he sliced the empty head in two before cracking his neck

"Seems like I won't be able to get a clean hit on his core at this speed." Shinomiya said as he stares at 0013 with a stoic expression

0013 stares at Shinomiya with a stoic expression as he tilt his head after memorizing all of Shinomiya's moves

"Every Hivemind type monster can memorize attacks. I knew he burned all of my movements in his brain and is now already forming counters to every single move. In a battle of attrition, I already lost." Shinomiya thought as he stares at 0013 while inhaling sharply
