"I am affected by it... in part..."
Of course he doesn't have to explain which part it was, they understood it with his previous explanation.
He continued before anyone could ask him a question. "I should have been born in this world... but I was kicked out... and I found myself on earth... with its curse..."
"It was canceled... when I found myself here... that's why you're all... still alive..."
They remained silent after that, they don't know what to say. They couldn't even imagine what would have happened if it would still be effective. They would all be dead, that's for sure.
« Now that you know the whole story, are you satisfied?!» That's what the look of hold seemed to say to the dragon, he wore a scowl on his face. Cale was still slightly angry that the ancient dragon had been spying on him, forcing him to tell him everything.
Eruhaben wanted to tell him that he was sorry, but that's what he hoped plus his dragon pride stopped him, he said something else instead. "So the reactions you got came from your old life?"
Cale nodded, he didn't want to say anything more. The more we asked him, the more his ability threatened to slip away. He already had a headache with all the records trying to get out he involuntarily put a hand to his temples.
"Are you okay Cale?"
"it's okay...it's okay just stop..."
Of course the dragon wanted to know more but Cale's expression said he wouldn't and he was afraid he might push it and trigger more discs, and it looked like he wasn't far from that.
He gave her a few minutes to calm down before resuming the conversation, changing the subject.
"*Sigh* I heard the solution you told Alberu for your ability, is there really nothing else to do?"
« Why always this question?» He frowned thinking about this.
" No. "
"Fine, I'll check with the doctors, rest."
Cale did not refuse and fell asleep immediately, he was exhausted after all this conversation.
Alberu and Eruhaben remained in silence for a little while afterwards.
"And you knew about it?"
"...yes but I realize that I didn't know much in the end..."
"Choi han knows more?"
He didn't answer, it's not like he knew after all.
"Bring him here I want to talk to him but don't say anything to Cale."
"Why are you planning to do something?"
No answer.
"You shouldn't look too hard for answers behind Cale's back..." He warned the dragon but the latter didn't listen. He quickly took an orb and called the swordsman himself, all while walking out of the room towards the medics.
Once the door was closed, he sighed at the dragon's actions, hoping that Cale wouldn't find out, but there wasn't much hope. Because even if he didn't know everything about his sworn brother's former life he could deduce things based on these reactions, he was afraid of the former dragon's reaction once he knew everything. And especially of Cale, who might get angry with them and close himself off completely from them, never to speak to them again.
A certain god felt a sense of fear that he was going to be made to work a lot for a very long time.
Once he'd finished talking to the swordsman, before hanging up, he said he'd come back later in the day to talk to him instead of sending for him directly, and that he should stay in the villa.
He then headed for the room where the doctor was. He quickly went in and explained the new details that Cale had told them. The doctor quickly told him what he thought.
"He said we'd have to render him unconscious for his ability to stop, hmm... we can put him to sleep but it seems to me he's had nightmares before while asleep?"
"Yes, that's the case, it's even happened several times where we've had to wake him up."
"I see, so you'd have to induce a deeper state to make it stop... there is something, but doing so is even more dangerous in his current weakened state..."
"Frankly he's already been dead I don't see how it could be any worse..." Eruhaben said in a resigned tone. It seems he's still underestimating our Cale ~
The doctor didn't reply. Instead, he said what was on his mind. "We could induce a coma with drugs."
"You said it was dangerous, is there really nothing else we can do?"
"Unfortunately no."
" *sigh* All right I'll check with Cale and everyone. " With that he went out into the corridor and teleported straight to the villa.
As soon as he arrived he summoned Choi Han to talk to him.
Choi Han arrived a few minutes later and Eruhaben guided him to his room by installing a soundproof shield.
Once everything was in place, they sat down in the bedroom lounge. Eruhaben decided to ask him directly.
"Cale told me about his identity and his old world..."
Choi han's eyes widened in surprise at these words.
"He didn't really give many details about his life there, but I'm guessing you know something maybe even more than Alberu."
His gaze was piercing on the swordsman, Choi han was sweating in front of the dragon.
"I.don't.know.anything."
"Yeah, I can see that..." Everyone already knew that he couldn't lie, he didn't even know why he was making the effort to try again.
"Well now, why don't you stop taking me for an idiot and tell me what you know?" His gaze had become fiercer.
"I'm not saying anything without Cale-nim's permission!"
"Oh so you really do know something huh." A playful smile appeared on his face, making the swordsman swallow.
"I... I won't say anything!"
"We'll see about that-" Eruhaben was about to continue pressuring him but a knock came at the door, he quickly withdrew everything and faced Ron.
Choi Han took the opportunity to slip out of the room as the former dragon looked on sharply.
For once he wanted to thank Ron for coming. He quickly left, running away from the dragon.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to disturb you, I just wanted to see how the young master was doing."
"No, it's fine, I'll catch up with him again... yes, I've spoken to the doctor and Cale about this, we may have found a solution, but there's a risk I'd like to discuss with everyone."
"I can summon everyone to the lounge if you like and those who aren't there can be summoned with an orb."
"Perfect, I'll take care of the orbs. Go and get the others without the children."
With that Ron left.
Eruhaben went down to the living room to wait for the others to arrive and called Duke Deruht on an orb and one to the palace with Cale and Alberu.
He quickly explained the reason for his call.
A few minutes later everyone was there except, strangely enough, Choi Han.
