About two weeks later:

Amari's pov:

Today's Friday and I've officially finished my first week of university in Madrid. It was actually pretty relaxed. We haven't done to much at this point so this week hasn't really been stressful. My professors are all fairly nice and the classmates I've talked so far seem to be good people as well.

Right now the girls and I are waiting for our uber to arrive. Together with the boys we're rewarding ourselves for finishing the first week of this year at uni with going to another club. One of Tyrese's friends is dj-ing there and invited us to this like 2000s party tonight.

About half an hour later we finally make our way through the club trying to find somewhere to sit down. From the minute we entered we've been confronted with typical 2000s songs. And I'm surely not complaining. Plus the vibe in here is awesome. Almost everyone is dressed in the decade's clothes and many are dancing around to the music.

As soon as we find ourselves somewhere to sit at Kiela, Ivy and I make our way to the bar to get some drinks for everyone while Daniel, Jeremie and Tyrese watch our places.

Two hours later:

"Anyone want to come to the bar with me?", I ask my friends, "I just need a water because I'm thirsty. And I'm defo not gonna satisfy my thirst with more alcohol."
"Nah, I'm too lazy to get up", Ty shrugs.
"Just wait for Kie and Ivy to get back from the bathroom. I'm sure they'll go with you", Jerry tells me.

"That could take forever. Have you seen the line in front of the girl's bathroom? Fuck it, I'll just go alone. If I get harassed again it's your fault because you didn't come with me", I joke.
"You wish that'll happen", Dani returns making me gasp while Jerry and Ty laugh.
"I'm joking, I'm joking", Dani chuckles as I send him the evils.

"Fuck you", I say with a laughter as I get up, "I'll be back in a few."
I then make my way towards the bar. I have to wait a few moments before I'm able to order a water since there are some people in front of me.

"¿El vaso de agua?", one of the bartenders calls out about five minutes later. (The glass of water?)
"Si, acá", I say at the same time as someone next to me. (Yes, here)
As I look to my right I find myself looking at a guy who seems to be my age.

"Oh, sorry", I chuckle, "Is that yours or mine?"
"I'm honestly not sure", he replies with a laugh as well, "You take it though."
"You sure?", I question.
Before he can answer the bartender calls out for another water.
"I guess, it doesn't matter now."
"Yeah, thank you for wanting to give me the first water", I return with a smile.

"You're welcome", he smiles back, "I'm Arda by the way."
"Amari. Nice to meet you", I respond as we walk a few steps away from the bar.
"Nice to meet you too. Are you here alone?"
"No, I'm here with a group of friends. What about you?", I question in return.

"Yeah, me too. However, I've got no idea where they went. They were supposed to wait for me near the bar", he chuckles.
"Some friends you have", I laugh.
"They're not that bad. Just not really patient", he tells me.

"I know some people who are the same", I reply, "Not the ones I'm here with, but some friends back home. I'm from England if you haven't noticed."
"Yeah, your accent kinda gives it away. But I'm not from here either. Been born and raised in Turkey", he tells me.

"Wow, that's cool. I've been wanting to visit the country for some time but I haven't been able to go there yet", I say in return.
"You should. It's really nice. Don't forget to try our food when you're there either."
"Alright, I will", I respond, "But only if you try British food as well."
