➪ brothers - lil tjay

☙ꨄ☆ꨄ❧

Two days later:

Amari's pov:

"Are you sure you'll be fine taking your brothers for today?", my mum asks me for the fourth time now.
"Yes, mum, I'm sure", I laugh, "It's not like it's the first time I've babysat them."
"No need to call it babysitting. I'm literally 17. I don't need a fucking babysitter", Emilio complains, adding himself to the conversation.

"Language, boy", my mum scolds him right away before turning back to me, "Okay, well, your dad and I will leave then. We'll pick them up tomorrow before we have to head to the airport."
"Alright, have fun", I say before I hug my parents goodbye.

Today's my family's last day in Madrid and my parents wanted to spend some time just the two of them. So I offered to entertain my two brothers for the day and also let them sleep here. Kiela and I have to be at uni for two hours or so but Ivy is able to stay with Emilio and Cameron. Plus, Jeremie and Tyrese will come over as well. I'll be back around lunchtime, so we'll get something to eat then.

But for now I still have almost an hour before I have to leave.
"So, what are we gonna do now?", Cam asks me impatiently.
"I'm gonna make myself a coffee now because I didn't get much sleep last night, and without I won't make it through my classes today", I tell him in return.

"Have you guys eaten breakfast yet?"
"Yeah, we did. Mum unfortunately woke us up at seven to get breakfast", Ems explains, "This is supposed to be a little vacation. Why do we have to get up so early?"
"You know how mum is", I chuckle, "Feel free to take a nap while I'm at uni."

Just as I take a mug from the cabinet Kiela exits her bedroom and walks over to the kitchen.
"You making coffee, Riri?", she questions.
I nod in response.
"Do you want me to make you one too?"
"Yes, please."
I quickly grab a second mug before I start making coffee for the both of us.

"Cam, Ems, do you want something to drink as well?", Kiela asks my brothers.
"What do you have?", Cameron asks back.
"Good question", she laughs and walks over to the fridge, opening it, "We've got orange juice, pineapple juice, ... and an empty bottle of apple juice."

Stepping away from the fridge she holds the bottle in one hand and shoots me a look.
"It wasn't me, I swear", I say putting my hands up in defense.
"Ivy!", Kiela yells as she walks over to our other roommate's bedroom.

I just chuckle as I hear my two friends argue about a simple bottle. I wouldn't say Kie has some crazy obsession with cleaning but let's just say she likes it tidy. Hearing Ivy laugh just confirms my suspicions that she put the empty bottle into the fridge just to piss off Kiela.

Knowing my brothers will choose orange juice anyway I just take the bottle and put it on the kitchen island for them along with two glasses.
"There you go", I tell them.
"Thanks, Ri", Cam says while grabbing the juice.

We continue to chat and spend some more time until I have to get ready for uni. As I walk out of my bedroom having changed my outfit and with a bag slung over my shoulder I see that Tyrese and Jeremie are already here, talking to my brothers in the living room.

"Oh, hey, Riri. How are you?", Jerry asks as soon as he notices me.
"I'm good, thanks. What about you two?"
Both of them continue to tell me they're doing good as well. We keep on catching up for a minute while I put on my shoes and jacket before grabbing my keys.

"Okay, I'm gonna head out now. I'll probably be back between one and one thirty", I tell them, "Jerry, please make sure Ty doesn't teach my brothers stupid stuff."
"How could you think I would do such a thing?", Tyrese gasps dramatically making Emilio and Cameron laugh.
"I got him, don't worry", Jeremie assures me with a wink.
