You're walking through the crowded hall at school with your hands full of heavy textbooks. Suddenly your bully, Sabrina, and her gang surrounds you. Sabrina was one of the populars at school so basically not only was she popular but she was a royal bitch.
"Hey loser, let me help you with those books. They look heavy."
Sabrina reaches for the books and knocks them towards your face causing the books to hit your face and make you fall.
"Awww the poor emo fell." Sabrina cackled.
Tears began to roll down your face. You were already having a hard time and now she was here making it worse. You were thinking about how you cut last night and how much better the blade made you feel right when Vic showed up.
"Hey bitch, get away from her!"
"Awww did the emo's emo savior come?" Sabrina laughed.
"Why don't you fuck off Sabrina and find someone else to terrorize? I think she's had enough for today." He says eyeing the little sliver of a cut he sees on your wrist.
"Whatever. I'll deal with you later, loser."
As Sabrina was walking down the hall with her posse, she almost walked into the trash can.You and Vic laughed at the sight.Vic turned to you and helped you up.
"Thanks for saving me from Sabrina, Vic."
"It was nothing, really. Can I ask you something, Jocelyn?"
"Um...sure."
"Why did you do it?"
"Do what?"
"I saw the cut Jocelyn. Why did you do it?"
"Oh...I-I w-was in p-p-pain. It helped me feel b-better." You answered while crying.
Vic just pulled you in and gave you a tight hug. That only made you sob harder. It felt so good to finally have someone who cared.
"The next time you feel like doing it, call me ok?"
"O-ok."
"I care about you a lot and I don't want you to get hurt."
You start crying even harder because all your life all you wanted was someone who cared.
"T-thank you so much Vic. You have no idea how much that means to me."
