It was your and Luke's 6 month anniversary. You and Luke decided to just watch a movie and go out for ice cream later to celebrate the 6 months. Tonight was also the night that he planned on telling you that he loved you.
You were wearing one of Luke's shirts that you had took from him before he went on his last tour. You wore it because you knew how much he loved seeing you in his clothes.
"You ready babe?" Luke asked as you were walking towards the couch with the popcorn.
"I was born ready! jkjk that's so lame."
"Ya that was pretty lame but you're lamer!" he said while laughing.
"Fine then no cuddles, kisses, or popcorn for you!" you said only teasing but you wanted to see if he would actually believe that.
"Nooooooo not the popcorn!"
"Wow. Just wow Luke." you said while laughing.
While you were laughing, Luke just kissed you. You loved it when he surprised you like that.
And with that you both started cuddling and watching the movie.
Luke was really nervous so he started texting Calum. You got annoyed that he was on his phone so you just took it and held it away from him. That soon lead to you two play fighting on the couch. By the time the movie had ended, you two were out of breath.
Luke laughed and went to the kitchen to get the ice cream. He came back with the whole tub of Cookies and Creme. Well you were going to get a spoonful of ice cream it ended up flinging onto to Luke.
"Oh it's on!"
Luke started flinging ice cream at you while you were screaming and laughing. You started throwing ice cream back at him. It was officially an ice cream war. Once you guys had run out of ice cream, Luke just looked at you with an unreadable expression.
"What?"
"I-it's just...you're so amazing. I can't believe that you've stayed with me for 6 long months."
"Me? Amazing? Please that's you, Luke."
"Anjali...I-I t-think I love you."
"Oh...I-"
"I knew you wouldn't love me back. I don't deserve you." He said, interrupting you.
"Luke, I do love you. I was about to tell you that. I don't even know why you would ever think that you weren't good enough for me."
"Wait, you actually love me back?!" He asked surprised.
"Of course I do, Lukey!"
After that you saw the biggest smile come on his face and he just kissed you really passionately.
