You and Calum had been dating for 4 months.
You were hanging out with your gay best friend, Alex. He had just gone through a rough break up. You were helping him feel better. You both were at your favorite ice cream shop, binging on ice cream.
"I can't believe he just dumped me like that!"
"I know, I know. He's a jerk. But you'll find someone way better." you said.
You gave him a huge hug and just held him there for about 5 minutes.
"Oh, I have to go, Alex. I have to meet Cal." you said.
"Oh ok. You can go."
"I'll call you later!"
"Kk!"
You kissed him on the cheek and left.
Once you got to Calum's house, you saw him sitting on the couch staring at his phone.
"Hey, babe! What are you looking at?" you asked while leaning into to kiss him.
He just pulled away and glared at you.
"What's wrong?" you asked.
"This!" he said showing you his phone.
On it was a picture of you hugging Alex and kissing his cheek.
You started laughing really hard.
"Oh! So you think that this funny?"
"Duh!" you said while laughing.
"That's it! Get out!" he said outraged.
"What?! Why?!"
"You fucking cheated on me, you slut!"
"What?! I didn't cheat! That's Ale-"
"I don't care what his name is! Just get out!"
"Bu-"
"Just. Get. Out!"
"Fine but next time, let your girlfriend explain before you kick her out." you said, your voice cracking.
"Whatever." he responded.
You walked outside with tears streaming down your face. You walked to Alex's house. Once you got there, you were surprised by what you saw.
"Alex?"
"O-oh hey, y/n! What are you doing here?"
"C-cal dumped me!"
"Oh, baby that's awful!" Kyle, Alex's ex boyfriend said.
"Kyle, what are you doing here? I thought you and Alex broke up?"
"We did but I love Alex and I can't be without him."
"Awww I'm so happy for you guys!"
"Thanks, cupcake!" Kyle said.
Kyle always gave you nicknames like that. It was just one of his quirks.
"I-is it okay if I stay with you guys for a couple days?"
"Of course, y/n! You can stay as long as you want!"
"Thanks!" you said before crying all over again.
time skip
It's been a week since you and Calum broke up. You were still a big mess. Plus you felt so empty without him.
"Baby, I think you should go outside. You haven't got out of bed for a week." Kyle said.
"I know. You're right. I should get up. I guess I'll get ready to go take a walk." you said with a sigh.
"Yay!"
You giggled in response to his enthusiasm.
He left the room and you quickly started getting dressed.
Soon, you went out for a walk. You went to what was your and Calum's place. You started crying as soon as you saw it. You just went and sat there. The place always comforted you. You ended of falling asleep there.
When you woke up, there was some tall dark figure towering over you.
"Y/n?" you heard a deep, familiar voice ask.
"Calum?" you croaked.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I-I just needed to clear my mind."
"You don't look too good."
"Well whose fault is that?" you asked suddenly angry."
"Yours."
"How can it possible be my fault?"
"You were the one who cheated."
"For the last time, I didn't cheat on you!"
"Ya sure and I'm married to Luke."
You rolled your eyes.
" _That guy_ is Alex and he's m-"
"I don't care what his name is or wha-"
"No! Stop interrupting me! Just let me tell you! Alex is my gay best friend! Alex is gay! G-A-Y! Gay! Ok!"
"Oh."
"Ya, so I didn't freakin cheat on you!"
"Y/n, I'm so sorry! I'm so stupid! I should've let you explain!"
"Ya, you should've."
"Ba-y/n, take me back?"
"I don't know, Cal. I mean you did kick me out without letting me explain."
"Y/n, please I'll do anything to get you back!"
"Anything?" you asked.
"What do you have in mind?" he asked with a small smile.
"Well, you'll have to do anything I want for 2 weeks."
"If that's what it takes, then sure!"
"Ok!"
With that, he just kissed you. You felt whole again.
