You and Alex were really good friends but you guys flirted a lot. You guys were going for ice cream like you do every Friday but you felt that this one was going to be different.
"The usual?" the guy behind the counter asked.
"Of course." Alex answered.
"Alright coming right up!"
You and Alex sat your usual table while waiting for your ice cream. While you guys were waiting, you guys were playing this game where you look around the store at all the people sitting there and you try to figure out what they were talking about. You were just making fun of what you thought they were saying.
"Here's your ice cream. Enjoy!"
"Thank you!" you said.
"You see that guy and girl over there?"
"Ya?"
"I bet he's telling her that her eyes shine brighter than the sun!" he said laughing.
You started laughing really hard just thinking about that.
"You're so pretty when you laugh."
"Aren't I always pretty?" you asked teasingly.
"Obviously, ba- I mean y/n."
"What were you going to say?" you asked now curious.
"Ummm i-it's n-nothing."
Alex never stuttered unless he was nervous or hiding something.
"Alex, you can tell me whatever it is. I'm not gonna judge or make fun of you." you said softly.
"C-can I t-tell you when I'm ready to?"
"Of course, Alex."
"Thanks."
"Anytime, Alex."
Then he started laughing.
"What?" you asked really confused.
"You have ice cream on your lip."
"Oh. Where?"
"Let me get it for you." he said with a smug look.
He leaned in and just kissed you. He tasted like chocolate ice cream. Plus his lips were really soft.And then he pulled away just like that.
"Got it." he said with a smirk.
Oh. My. God.
You couldn't believe that he had just kissed you. You had always wanted him to kiss you. You just smiled and touched your lips.
