Mia's pov:
Bonnie took my hand and pulled me over to the sofa. She sat down opposite me and I noticed candles set out. "What's going on?" I asked nervous as they both were staring at me. "Bonnie's going to help you with your powers, to use them and control them" Stefan said softly smiling at me. Bonnie's gaze fell to my hand and she looked intrigued. "Where did you get that ring from?" She looked back at me and I frowned. "My mum gave it to me on my last birthday..I never take it of" she nodded and then took a brown book out of her bag. "Were going to start of with something easy, I want you to close your eyes, channel the energy around you and focus on lighting the candle"
I looked at the candles..and then closed my eyes feeling really stupid. "I'm I meant to do anything with my hands like wave them about or anything or maybe say hocus pocus or something" I muttered just wanting to go to bed. Stefan laughed. "Just focus mia" Bonnie said as I pictured the candles and felt energy flowing through my body and my mind. I opened my eyes expecting to see the candle a light but instead there was fire!.
"Wow ..your powers stronger than I thought okay..Mia you need to take control" Bonnie yelled the fire blazing around her so I could hardly see. I tried to stop but my mind wouldn't let me, I felt myself start to cry and the energy kept flowing.

Damons pov;
I laid Maddy in her bed and pulled the cover over her. She smiled and looked up at me. "Night I love you" She whispered. I smiled back and kissed her forehead. "Sleep well Maddy, I love you too". She closed her eyes and I sat there with her for a bit to make sure she was okay. I watched her soft slow breathing and then got up and left closing the door to on the way out. I smelt burning and ran downstairs. Seeing fire I ran round the edges. "Mia! Bonnie?" I saw Stefan trying to get Bonnie out of the fire and I rushed through it to get to mia.

mias pov;
I had closed my eyes trying to stop but opened them when I felt hands on my shoulders. Damon stared down at me. "mia focus on me..I'm here, your in control and I'm here with you". I continued to look in his eyes and breathing slowly and I felt the power drain from me. I felt my eyes closing a little and saw the fire die down. Then everything went dark.

Damons pov;
"mia!" Bonnie yelled running over as soon as the fire had gone. I caught mia as her legs gave way and she collapsed in my arms. "She's okay. She just needs rest" I told them hearing her heart beating. I picked her up and carried her up the stairs to my room and laid her in my bed so I could keep an eye on her. I sat on the chair so I could be there for her when she wakes up.
