mia's pov:

Elijah walked me to my door and I thanked him and put the key in the door and entered not wanting to talk anymore. I'd had enough. I closed the door and instantly saw my little sister sitting on the stairs. She was crying and I ran over to her picking her up. "I'm sorry I should have been here what's happened?" I whispered stroking her hair and trying to hear any noise from in the house. "She's gone" She sobbed, I put her down and wiped her eyes. "What do you mean?" I watched my little sister take a few breathes and she put her hand in mine. "She got drunk and then went out and hasn't come back, I heard a noise upstairs, I'm scared" I rolled my eyes. I should have guessed, typical mum. I picked my sister back up and walked upstairs. She started shaking and continued to walk. I noticed my bedroom window open and the curtain blowing out. "Did you open my window?" I whispered to her and she shook her head and stared at me with wide scared eyes. She looked like a rabbit caught in car headlights. I took a deep breathe and walked into my room straight to the window and closing it. Sensing someone behind me I quickly put my sister down and behind me and turned round to face them with my fist clenched.

"Wow easy Mia, it's just me" He stood leaning on my wardrobe and smirking at me. "Damon! You scared my sister!" I screamed throwing a pillow at him from my bed. He caught it and laughed and bent down to Maddy. "Hello sweetheart, I'm sorry if I scared you, shall we get you to bed you look tired?" I smiled noticing how soft his tone was and he picked her up. I followed pointing out her room and he carried her through and laid her down pulling her duvet over her. "I want my mummy" She whimpered. "I know I'll find her okay but now you need to sleep" She sat up gave him a hug and laid back down. He walked back to the door where I was standing and closed the door staring down at me.

"Who's my real parents?" I asked hoping I could get an answer when he was in this mood. He sighed and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ears. "They were called Silas and Amara" I nodded and felt a tear slid down my cheek. He frowned and shook his head. "Hey don't cry, I won't let anything happen to you, but I need to find your mum and then you all need to come stay in Mystic falls with me" I walked to my room while he followed me telling me this.

"I can't no my life is here" I told him sitting down in my bed. "It's the only way for me to protect you, Maddy and your mum Mia" I sighed and nodded not knowing what else I could do, who should I trust Damon...or Kol and Elijah? He disappeared and I laid down staring at the ceiling.
