Mia's pov;

I tried to sleep but I couldn't, my mind kept going through the last event, the look on Klaus's face, made me feel so unsafe and to know he is only next door. I got up putting my hair into a pony tail and grabbing a suitcase. I neatly pack as much clothes as I could into it, and then creep into Maddy's room. I find her little suitcase and pack most of her clothes and then look at her peacefully sleeping. Her hair failing over her face and she was smiling in her sleep. I sighed and went and laid next to her tucking her hair behind her ears. She fidgeted in her sleep and moved closer so I put my arm round her. I close my eyes and instantly see a flashback;

I was laying in bed, my mum and Rick had just got home from yet another date, he creeped me out a bit. I heard my mum come up to bed and I got up to go to the toilet. Rick walked out my mums room and she laid fast asleep on her bed. He smiled at me and winked. I saw him head towards Maddy's room. My blood turned cold. No way not Maddy!. I ran at him hitting him and he turned around and grabbed me forcing me into my room and onto my bed. "Calm down" he hissed and smirked. "I want let you do it to her! Stay away from her" he laughed in my face, and ran his hand down my leg and forced his lips onto mine.

Somewhere in the flashback I'd fallen asleep and it most of turned to a dream.

Damon's pov;

I walked slowly back to Mia's. How could I tell her that her mums dead? That I just pulled her out of the lake. I let myself into her house and rested my head against the wall. mia screamed and I quickly ran up the stairs seeing her laying in bed with Maddy. I ran over to her but she was sleeping. I noticed she was crying in her sleep and began to panic. I wiped the tears away with my hand and she woke. "Get of me! Don't touch me!" She lashed out trying to hit me and I grabbed her hands. "It's okay Mia it's Me" I told her as she gasped and started to cry again. I took her hand and led her back to her room. She tensed and I sat down on her bed wrapping my arms around her, and stroking her hair. "It's okay I know what he did to you, he won't get away with it" I whispered. I tried to keep the anger from my voice and she looked up at me her eyes puffy.

"You know?...Did you find my mum?" She whispered.
