Interesting Dinner Talk?

Part 4;
Mia's pov;

"Ah there you are dinner is served" Elijah appears in front of us as we came down the stairs, I walked into the living room taking a seat next to my little sister. "You okay?" I whispered, she nodded and took a sip of her drink. I watched Kol and Elijah talking in hushed voices, and then Kol walked in and sit down the other side of my sister. Klaus sits at the end next to me and Elijah sat near my mum. A women walked in and placed our meals in front of us, she had a scarf round her neck. I frowned and was about to say something. "You go to the local college don't you Mia? Kol is starting tomorrow" Elijah blurts out bringing my attention away from the women.

"Um..yeah it's a good college" I say quietly, I blush and close my eyes for a second taking a sip from the glass of water in front of me. "Do you know of any history in the town?" Klaus asked sitting up right and looking at me. I shook my head as forced a smile. "I don't think so, what kind of history?" I sat up and put my drink down, and started eating. I was curious, I liked history and adventure.

"Brother" Kol said warningly. Elijah smiled at me and started eating. Klaus pushed his plate away. "I've already ate, and history as in ..myths, monsters, ware wolves, vampires that sort of thing?" I stopped chewing and swallowed my food. "That's enough, why don't you tell us about what your going to study at college Kol" my mum said quickly taking a gulp of her wine. "I rubbed my cheek with my hand, sighing and hoping she wouldn't get drunk tonight.

The rest of the night flew by and I made an excuse about college to leave. Kol and Elijah escorted us to the door. "Thank you for inviting us" I said politely. Kol took my hand and kissed it. "It's been a lovely evening, I'll see you in college tomorrow".
