Damons pov;

"Yeah..she's gone away for a awhile, she told me to take you to mystic falls". I smiled but hated lying to her, I just couldn't bring myself to tell her. As she looked up at me with hope and worry. She sighed and kissed my cheek. "Thank you Damon" She smiled and then walked into her bathroom and I hear the shower turn on.

"Well that looked cosy" I turned around seeing Kol standing in the doorway, he looked angry which made me very happy. "It's lovely to see you to Kol" I tell him sarcastically and make myself comfy on mia's bed.

Mia's pov;

I notice my phone in the bathroom ringing and I wrap a towel around me and pick up my phone. "Hello?" I looked at the number seeing it was my home phone?. "Mia..there's someone else in the house, listen" I frowned hearing Maddy whisper and a floor board creek and voices.

"Listen Damon, I need to take Mia away..I need to get her far from my brother" I walked over the the door and looked through the crack seeing both Kol and Damon in my room.

"I don't trust you one little bit, so what makes you think I'm going to let you take her." Kol smirked and shrugged. "Fortunately for me you don't have a choice" I gasped as Damon suddenly had Kol pinned against the wall his hands round his throat. I unlocked the door and walked out.

"Damon! Let him go!" He turned his head to look at me but didn't let go. "Don't make me hurt you Damon..I really don't want to" I tell him seeing Kol struggle. Damon lets go and walks over to the window looking at me annoyed.

"Why are you saving him..he only wants you for what you are!" He shouts, Kol walks over to me handing me a top I can put over my towel. I smile and look at him then at Damon.

Inside I really wanted to go with Kol I felt connected to him, I still felt a little scared of Damon. He loses control so easily..what if he did to Maddy?..but my mum said so that's where she will know to find me. I took hold of Kols hand and kiss his cheek. "Thank you for saving me from Klaus and from getting run over, but I can't go with you Kol. I have to go to Mystic Falls" he shakes his head and pulls me into a hug. "I will come see you all the time" He tells me as I rest my head on his shoulder. "I love you Mia always remember that" he whispers as I pull away, a tear rolling down my cheek.

I blink and he has gone, I turn to face Damon scared that it was just a dream but his face showed me it wasn't. He looked down at the floor and then back at me. "Right we shod get Maddy and head of" He walked out the room towards Maddy's and I ran after him. "Damon.." He turned around his eyebrows raised. "Yes Mia?" I thought about what I was going to ask, how complicated or awkward it might make things and shook my head. "Thank you" I mumbled closing the door and sinking to the floor with my head in my hands.
