The dinner

Chapter 3; The Dinner
Mia's pov;

I walked downstairs with my little sister in front. My mum stood by the door trying to make her hair more puffy. "So you changed your mind, im so glad thank you honey" My mum said kissing me on the cheek as I got to the bottom of the stairs.
I managed to fake a smile and my sister gripped my hand. I followed them out the house and locked the door. They were already walking down next doors path so I climbed over the wall to be standing next to them. "Mia" my mum hissed. I straightened my hair and shrugged. "What it's quicker" I stated while my sister laughed and knocked on the door.
It wasn't long before the door opened and Elijah stood, I noticed he was wearing a suit that he was also wearing earlier. "Welcome Mia, Maddy and you must be Mrs.."
"Call me Isabelle" My mum commented over him. I frowned. He was going to continue, I didn't tell him out last name?
"Please come in" He said politely, my mum went in first and I told my sister to go in next. I always protect her and I wasn't sure about these two.
I walked in and stopped in the hallway. Turning around to face Elijah. He smiled and then looked down at the floor and smiled. God was he hot. I cursed myself for thinking that. Elijah chuckled and looked up at Me. "Thank you"
"Um..for what?" I asked worried in-case I said what I thought without knowing. He hesitated "for coming tonight Mia" he said smirking he pointed into the next room and then walked of into it.

"Mia" I turned around seeing Kol walk down the stairs. "Hi" I said waving. Why did I wave?. I slammed my hand on my head. "Sorry". He got to the bottom step and put his hand out. "It's a pretty night, come with me?" He asked. I looked back into the room seeing my mum and sister sitting down talking to Elijah, they seemed safe. Then I looked back at Kol, his eyes sparkling and his hand out waiting. I placed mine in his and followed him up the stairs.

"Where are we going" I asked, as we started up some more steps. "It's a surprise" he retorted. We stopped at a door which he opened. He turned around and went behind me. His arm went round my waist and his other hand covered my eyes. "Kol" I jumped. Where was we going. His grip tightened round my waist. "It's okay I won't let anything happen to you" he whispered, his breathe hot on my neck. For some reason I felt safe, even though I hardly new him.
He led me forward and I heard a door close. He took my hand and made me keep walking forward with my eyes closed. Then he let go of my hand.

"Kol were did you go!?" I asked panicked. I opened my eyes wide to see him leaning on the wall, we were outside on a balcony. The stars where shining and their were candles spread about with a blanket.
"Dinner isn't for a while, so I thought we could get to know each other" He said sitting down on the blanket.
I bit my lip and slipped my shoes of sitting down on the blanket too. "So beautiful" I said looking at the stars.

"I prefer the Night to the day" he said staring at me. "The night holds the most beauty" I told him looking at him. He tilted his head to the side. Then his phone started ringing, he looked angry and put the phone to his ear standing up and walking to the edge of the balcony.
"Leave her alone" he said through gritted teeth.
He hung up the phone. I looked around as he stared at his phone and then me.

"I am sorry I shouldn't have brought you up here.." He picked up a candle blowing out the light and then throwing it at the wall. I jumped frightened. "Kol!" I shouted. He looked at me and then turned around staring into darkness.

I stood up to walk up to him and jumped feeling a hand on my shoulder. I turned to see another man. "Hello love"

Kol grabbed my hand and pulled me over to him. "Long time brother " Kol hissed. Fronting up to this other guy. He cocked his head to the side staring at me. "Who's the girl" The man asked folding his arms.
"What do you want Klaus" Kol asked not answering his question.

"Why I've come home brother, isn't that what Elijah wanted?" He smiled at me and walked over to the door, opening it and going down the stairs.
I let out a breathe. Kol turned to me quickly. "Are you okay?" He asked he was suddenly right in front of me his hands on my arms. "Fine" I whispered. He sighed and closed his eyes for a minute.

"How many siblings do you have?" I asked to try stop the awkwardness. "Your yet to meet Rebekah" he said letting go of my arms. "How did he get there without me knowing?" I asked. He turned around quickly. "He is sneaky" "come on we will be late for dinner" he offered me his hand again, which I took and followed him back into the house.

Something made me feel worried ..my mum and sister was down their with Klaus and Elijah. If anything has happened!
