Kols pov;

I watched from the window, Damon carried a sleeping Maddy out into the car and then put all the bags in the boot. He looked up and smirked at me. I despise him, I don't know why Mia chose to go with him..maybe she likes him. I watch her get in the car and then him and they drive off. I pack my bags and head to Mystic Falls .

Mia's pov;

I hum a song that my mum always use to sing, and look out the window. I could feel Damon looking at me, so I turn to look at him and he smiles and focuses on the road. "Take a picture it lasts longer" I joked sticking my tongue out at him. He laughed and nodded. "Who says I haven't already" he replies smirking. I curl up in the chair so I'm on my side looking at him. "What did you mean by Kol only wants me for what I am..isn't that what you want me for to?" I ask blushing and feeling stupid. He looks at me frowning and then checks Maddy's sleeping. "What I meant was Kol wants you for your powers, I won't to keep you safe even if that means not using your powers". I smile and look down at my shoes, feeling a little disappointed... For some reason I hoped he felt something for me. I close my eyes thinking of Kol, when he whispered that he loved me, did I love him to? He made me feel happy and saved me..but do I love him?

The car stopped moving and I woke up from my light sleep. "Your home" Damon told me smiling and getting out the car to carry Maddy in. "Home" I whispered looking at the big house. I smiled and followed him in. Maddy woke in Damons arms and put her arms round his neck and smiled at me. I check the time and see its really early in the morning. Bonnie and Stefan are sitting in the front room. "Hey mia" Bonnie says giving me a hug. I smile at her and Damon puts Maddy down. "This is Maddy" I tell them and she smiles and waves.

"I'm still tired" she mumbles cuddling me.

I look at Damon and he raises his eyebrows. "Oh right yeah okay..uhm Maddy come with me then ill show you your room and put you to bed" He picks her up and carries her upstairs leaving me alone with Stefan and Bonnie.
