Seeing himself in one piece style was weird. Especially not seeing any stretch marks on his skin.

It did make sense to matthew of course a lot of shirtless fat characters without a shirt on didn't have then either but not seeing them on his own body was strange.

Now laying in a tub of hot water to ease his body from his recent activities he begins thinking bout how things have been while on the going merry. For starters he's been able to fight his insomnia-like sleeping schedule! Just not by choice with being in the crew. They tire you out a lot more then you would think.

Either way it was intresting sleeping with the boys. Mainly since they all had proper beds. It was still only 1 room but it was fun having a unexpected pillow fight.

He didn’t win. But he did knock zoro out so he counts that as a win.

Either way it was strange how their was 8 beds bit it was nice for matthew since he didn't like sleeping in hammocks. He like relaxing in them but sleeping always felt strange.

Nami Also said that the girls room also had 8 beds. 

It was weird business that meant this shit was meant for 16 people. Yet they only had 10 chairs in the kitchen. There was obviously a design flaw somewhere here.

Speaking of the kitchen matthew had to say… he didn't remember these 4 being such shit cooks!

So till they got a proper cook it was matthew who was cooking which to the crew wasn’t so bad, albeit bland

There was a big problem matthew hasn't even considered before.

An addiction of his.

His music addiction specifically.

Music was always something matthew loved since it distracted him from over thinking.

However. Being in one piece he didn't really have a way to play music. Especially considering the only main sound recordings were either easily trackable snails or shells he won't be getting for… months? Eh he didn’t know the straw hats travel timeline.

So to try and solve his problem he tried learning to play a guitar he found on the going merry…

Only to give up a hour after since his hands were too damn big for it. Also nearly breaking it when Nani surprised him by opening a door while he was in hyper focused mode

Speaking of, he's actually been learning navigator from her which has been going really, pun not originally intended but now is, smoothly.

He did remember watching a video about how a potential future for her was going to be a teacher. It did really show as she made things easier for him to process.

It did feel embracing since she sounded genuinely happy to teach him. He maybe ace and aro but happy nami is happy nami.
