We cue into a massive party inside the berate. Food galore all around as the chefs congratulate the straw hat’s victory. They didn’t do much with don krieg after some of his crew fished him out… well besides matthew robbing the man blind from all his weapons which were even more from what he remembered. When he saw them he had massive stars in his eye’s

After that they kinda just stuffed them all on a ship, matthew refused to let them use his going booby. And sent them off on their way. Gin fortunately is not going with them. It took another chat about the man’s nature and luffy stubbornness, they just barely convinced him

So now with a very loyal man on their side left one main thing. The feast… and treating gin whos stomach after not eating so long, ate as much as he could. Along with his wounds from fighting sanji and his starvation he went threw made the man pass out.

There was also zoro who basically nearly died. Not from mihawks slash, but from the bounty hunter duo who roughly carried him around. Which made matthew nearly kick their ass.

Luckily one of the cooks actually had medical experience and happily helped patch up the swordsman. It mainly was just stitches and such while giving the recommendation to rest for at most 2 weeks.

Of course zoro tried to declare he was just fine. Till matthew knocked him back into the bed and took his swords while declaring “rest up you idiot or ill never give this sword back.” zoro was unable to hear him since matthew accidently knocked him out.

Either way back in the party, it was still going strong, luffy and the bounty hunter duo eating as much as they could, then usopp giving his tall tales to whoever would listen… which was none of them.

Funnily enough matthew and nami were trying to sit off to the side, mainly talking about nami village. They decided to wait to sai again before informing the crew of their deal… weirdly to matthew the women was sitting closer to him before. He didn’t really get it but was happy she was. Least she seem to be in a great mood considering they need to kick a humanoid sharks ass.

[M: decided to do it.. Unfortunately for y’all it will be a bit of a slow burn. I kinda have physical evidence i’m dense. Legit a friend of mine apparently had an obvious crush on me but I never even noticed a sign of it. Plus since this isn’t an older Matthew he’ll still be like me.]

However their little hang out was interrupted when matthew was pulled into a eating contest by luffy. Literally. Matthew went flying into a large amount of food. This of course made matthew try to throw a pile of food at luffy. Only to miss and hit patty.

Which somehow became a massive food fight between them all. Least it would have before they all got tossed to the floor by zef. “Damn youngins wasting all our food” the man grumbled about

Either way the party went on great. It went for so long they stayed there another night. Then the next day, they prepared to leave. Despite the party, they helped them stock up a bit on food. The cook-doctor even gave matthew some of their medical books. It was mainly basic stuff but would come in handy for the future. ‘Least till we get chopper’

Then while they finished preparing a massive argument happened from inside the restaurant, with sanji walking out and around the thing pissed in all hell. However matthew didn’t worry as he knew luffy was still in there. So he went and help gin settle in, they were luckily able to gather the man’s clothes from the destroyed ship so that was lucky.

After a few more moments, they heard cheers and cries above, then when they went up saw the blonde chef on the deck of the going merry. “So everyone finally wore you down huh” while the chef only gave a nod, matthew chuckled and gave him a good pat on the back, nearly knocking him over “welcome aboard man. Hehe”
