[m: ok. Technically this is both filler and a chapter. However i really don’t like the dragon island episodes cuz they were mid. So I'm changing it a good damn bit so don’t expect the actual episode.]

After a good while with luffy just hanging on sabo the entire time, matthew and sanji made dinner while the two just talked, luffy confirming sabo memories while also talking about ace. Soon it is mainly about Luffy's journey and the crew itself. Which luffy confirmed the roles of everyone.

“This is sanji! He’s our cook and he’s amazing at that.” sanji had a proud smile while putting out some of the dishes. Luffy then sided hugged gin “while this is gin, we took him from another pirate.” gin gave a sheepish wave.

Next luffy pointed to usopp “our resident sniper that uses anything but an actual sniper rifle. Usopp.” the tanned man stood up while taking a jiraya like pose “yes it is I the great pirate usopp! Brave warrior of the sea's " sabo", gained a confused expression while Luffy answered “he’s also our resident liar.”

Thenwhile beginning to eat his plate of food he introduces nami “that’s our navigator nami. Her punches hurt.” nami smiled while cracking her knuckles. Then saying “it’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Zoro gave a burp introducing himself. Least that was the intent but he just stared at everyone then fell asleep. So Matthew bopped him on the head and did it. “This is zoro. He’s the swordsman that uses three swords.” After setting down the final plate, the beefy man gave a wave with only a peace sign. “And the best for last, I'm matthew. Somehow the vice captain.”

Zoro began to complain about getting hit till Matthew shoved a spoonful down the man’s throat shutting him up.

[M: ok. I just realized something dumb. So, the dragon is a monkey with blonde haired second in command… luffy is a monkey with this me, a dirty blonde vice captain… I feel like I'm accidentally playing 5d chess here.]

Sabo just chuckled and introduced himself properly. “My name is sabo. Luffy brother and second in command of the revolutionary army.” that made every member but matthew, gin, and luffy jaw drop. Luffy just looked confused. “What’s that?”

Gin was the one to explain that “the revolutionary army is a group wanting to disband the world government. I thought I recognized the name sabo.” he said. Usopp asked Matthew, “Wait, why aren’t you surprised?”

Which made Matthew take out an article about sabo that he found in the previous marine base. ‘It’s amazing what you can find in marine bases.’ Matthew only thought about it.

The article was mainly about how there was speculation on sabo appearance. But the identified outfit and sabo current outfit matched perfectly. “I’m also surprised you just kinda appeared.” Contrary to his words Matthew just shrugged “but luffy is pretty good at judging people mostly. Plus you didn’t feel hostile.”

But trying to direct the conversion he also took out a paper with dragon’s bounty. Which nami and usopp point out, more lie numbly read “monkey d. Dragon..” They looked at Matthew's face. He only nodded. Then the two nearly fell to the floor however Matthew caught them.

Sanji dropped his fork with food still on it, and Zoro dropped his bottle of liquor in his lap. Gin who stared at it for a moment before faceplating into his food. Gin was very glad every attempt against luffy failed and he’s now part of this crew.

Luffy looked at the picture before laughing “hey it’s the ugly guy! So his name is Dragon huh." Seeing that luffy didn’t get the point, Matthew set the weaker members in chairs before putting a hand on luffy's shoulder. “Dude. That's your dad.”
