Before you know it, a month had passed already. And it was a very tough month indeed, at least Jungkook made sure of that.

Jungkook trashed your desk as revenge for ruining his sneakers. You tied his shoelaces together when he wasn't noticing which caused him to trip. He stole your favorite pen, which was given by a friend from your old school, and sadly you never saw it again. On and on it went.

You tried your best to focus in class but with Jungkook always bothering you, it was very hard to pay attention to anything the teacher was saying. Of course Jungkook had no problem with academics.

You found yourself slowly lagging behind others in class. Since you transferred school towards the end of an academic year, finals were just around the corner as well.

You just wanted to be done with junior year already. Unfortunately with your grades dropping, your teachers have warned you several times to hire a tutor to help you pass the exams. With your financial condition, a tutor is something you simply cannot afford.

Of course, as if you don't have enough problems already, Hana and Jiwon keep troubling you, especially Hana because she can't stand you talking with Jungkook. And no matter how many times you tell Jungkook to stop, that little idiot can't take a hint. So Hana and Jiwon mark their attendance every day.

Most days after school, while other students would be in cram school, you head to the cafe and work until it's 9pm. The lady who owns the shop did tell you that you didn't have to work that long. But you are willing to work overtime since you need the extra cash.

You'd come home from the cafe and sometimes your mother would be there but sometimes she'd still be at the hospital, and if that's the case, you'd pick up your brother from your neighbors house and give him a quick meal before you both go to sleep.

Your life is not how you imagined it would be at all, but there's a roof on your head and food on your plate and that's more than enough for now. Or at least that's what you thought.

"What?!", you exclaim as you push against the chair and stand up. All the other students in the library turn to look at you.

"Quiet!" Yoora whispers harshly.

You see the librarian look at you, eyebrows raised.

"Sorry," you apologize before taking your seat, embarrassed.

"Why did you have to yell?" Yoora whispers before flicking your forehead.

"Ow, wait. Is it true? The team is coming from Incheon?"

"Yeah, why does it matter?"

"Because I'm from Incheon and I can't have those people see me here!"

"They're just friends from your old school. What's the problem?"

"I-"

"Girls, if you're just going to keep talking, I'd rather have you OUT of my library."

The librarian looked so angry that you both quickly gather your things and leave, muttering apologies.

Once you were out, you turn to face Yoora.

"I can't tell you why, but I really shouldn't be seen by those kids from Incheon."

"Well, I'd love to help you but this is the final match of the year. The entire school will be there to watch. Plus, we have our final classes before the exam afterwards. I really don't think you should be skipping it."

You close your eyes and sigh. If they recognize you by any chance, the rumors will start again. On the other hand, you can't afford to skip class and lose your grades.

"Maybe it'll be okay. You said it yourself, the entire school will be there. They'll definitely not notice me with so many people there."

"Exactly," Yoora confirms. Even then, you feel queasy.

"When is this match taking place?"

"It's in a couple of days. I really hope our school wins this time."

"Well, I wouldn't mind if we lose. I mean, it would be satisfying to see Coconut sulk over it," you say as you try to picture the look on Jungkook's face.

Yoora smacks you with a book.

"Ow!"

"I hate him too, but seriously, you need to be supportive of our school players," Yoora scolds.

"Okay, okay!" you say, "I guess it's better if they win."

"Good," Yoora smiles, satisfied.

"Oooh, someone got defensive because a certain person is also playing from our school," you point your finger accusingly.

Yoora immediately starts blushing.

"Ha! Caught you, you lovesick girl!!"

"Shhh stop," Yoora pleads. You starts laughing.

"Seriously though, when are you gonna confess to him? I'm sure Eun-woo won't reject you."

"I don't know about that," Yoora mutters.

"You gotta take risks in life girl. How about this? If our school wins the match, promise me you'll confess to Eun-woo."

"Umm...okay," Yoora agrees, sagging her shoulders in defeat.

"That's my girl. Besides, who would say no to a cutie pie like you?"

You both laugh and head to the classroom together.
