"Hi, I'm here to see Miguel Diaz, I'm his cousin." Walking up to the receptionist and lying, Raven was eager to see him, wanting to see him before anyone else, the lady not very skeptical of her.
"Room 302." She said, Raven nodding; grabbing her balloons and card, excited to see the boy, especially after witnessing the cops take her brother away, she needed this escape.
Raven didn't want an explanation from Daniel anymore, the look of her brother feeling betrayed by her, made Raven heart hurt more than anything else, wanting to punch Daniel LaRusso in the face for breaking up the one person she truly cared about.
Her brother was now in Juvie, and she truly felt alone in this world, trying to get the balloons to fit into Miguel's room, clearing her throat as the boy looked over to her. "Raven, how'd you get in?" He asked her, the girl faking a smile and looking at him.
"Lied to them, doesn't matter. How are you doing?" She asked, standing by him, his eyes lighting up and looking at her. "Can't feel my feet, doctors say there's nothing they can do. I'll be in a wheelchair." He sighed, Raven grabbing his hand, rubbing it.
"It'll be okay, I'm just happy you're awake." He couldn't help but smile, nodding his head at her. "I'm happy you're here, watching reruns of SpongeBob gets boring after a while." He told her, Raven smiling at him.
"Tell me about it, cake boss keeps playing on my tv." Raven said, trying to lighten the mood. Miguel laughed at that, comparing the two different shows, smiling at her.
"Should we talk about the elephant in the room?" Miguel asked, Raven letting go of his hand, shaking her head. "No, I don't think we should. Tory is on probation or something, and we both know she won't be coming around here." Raven told him, Miguel trying to sit up a little.
"She tried to kill Sam." He said; Nora shaking her head. "If I recall, it was merely self defence—"
"Self defence? Raven you know that's not true." Miguel said, Raven not trying to pick up a fight with him. "Yeah well you shouldn't have kissed a drunk girl who clearly wasn't in the right headspace. You didn't kiss me when I confessed my love to you so why did you act on Sam?" Raven asked, crossing her arms.
"Oh so it's my fault? The one in the hospital with no ability to walk?" Miguel asked, Raven throwing her hands in the air.
"Look I'm not trying to argue with you Miguel. But the reason this fight started was because Sam missed you and tory saw." Raven told him; the boy scoffing at her, turning off the tv to truly hear her.
"I didn't know she was going to do that—"
"But you kissed her back. You can see why Tory is mad about that, she trusted you and you betrayed her just as much as Sam did something shameful."
"Oh so you come in here and tell me that I'm a shitty person? Well blame your dad. He's the reason I'm in this mess." Miguel gritted, Raven feeling her eye twitch, Raven wanting to punch something.
"Yeah; my dad made you kiss Sam." Raven said, Miguel staring at her. "You're kidding me right? If we didn't get into karate we'd be sitting with Eli and Demetri still. Not trying to get killed by Kyler, or your brother fucking me up."
"Butterfly effect bitch." Rolling her eyes and needing to leave; Raven stole the cookie he was about to eat, turning on her heels.
"Yeah bye to you too!"
"Fuck off miguel." Raven declared, throwing the cookie in the trash after it tasted like shit, rolling her eyes as she left the hospital, turning to the left to see Tory walking back and forth, wanting to visit Miguel.
"Tory?" Raven asked, the girl turning to look at her, sighing. "I can't see him. It's my fault he's in there." Tory said, her hands turning into fists, slightly annoyed with all of this.
Raven sighed, Tory noticing her sadness, the girl furrowing her eyebrows together. "What's wrong with you?" Tory asked, Raven crossing her arms. "Nothing, I'm fine. You can't see Miguel anyways it's family only, I tried." Lying to her a little, Tory sighed, feeling defeated as they stood outside the hospital.
"Did they find your brother?" Tory asked; Raven nearly wanting to break down, swallowing the lump in her throat. "That's not your concern."
"And then when we came back to the rehab centre, he was there talking to me, and I thought Daniel wanted me to talk to him. He used me as bait to stalk away from the cops!" Trying to sit still while having ice cream, Raven threw her ice cream out near Eli's car, meeting the rest of the cobra Kai's for ice cream.
Raven didn't want to come along, Tory wanting another girl be there with her, her phone buzzing off with Miguel apologizing with his their conversation went. "Hey! Watch the cars!" A random lady said with her kid, Raven turning to look at her.
"Are you injured by fucking ice cream?" Raven sassed, Eli rushing to get Raven away from the woman, Tory and him both trying to make her sit down. "Look, so what your brother is in juvie, take down LaRusso for payback." Eli told her, Raven wishing she didn't throw her ice cream away, wanting some.
"How the hell is that making me gonna feel better? I'm on probation, the officers told me if I do anything out of line I'll be next door to my brother." Raven said, Tory looking up at her with sympathy.
"Come back to cobra Kai and release that anger then. It's helping me." Tory suggested, Tory sneering a little, not sure that's a good thing anyways, scoffing. Seeing her phone buzz, Eli and Raven furrowed their eyebrows together whne it was Samantha, grabbing it before he did.
"What do you want?" Raven hissed, Sam stuttering a little and trying to find the right words. "Raven can we talk? I don't like what's happening with us." The girl asked, Raven getting up and leaving the cobra kai's.
"I don't really care what you have to say LaRusso, your mom fucked be over and it's going to make your life more hell if you cross me too." Raven warned, hanging up and seeing the messages Miguel was leaving.
Calling herself an Uber and needing to go home, Raven look at Carmen, the woman giving her a pity look. "Hi Raven." She said, Raven sighing and waving at her. "Hi." She said in a sad tone, opening her door, sighing when she saw nobody be home.
No note.
No nothing.
Wanting to break down and cry, Raven used that anger to clean up the place as she recalled everything about her day; needing to release some anger, her hands in fists.
"Probation, how about I shove my hand up your ass." Raven scoffed, remembering the words from the officer.
"Raven please! Do something!" Yelled Robby, Raven gasping and seeing handcuffs, begging the police officers to cancel this. "Back off sweetheart, or you'll be next door to your brother." The officer warned, Raven looking at Daniel, wondering why he was doing any of this.
Raven didn't think she could sleep knowing her brother probably hates her for the scheme Daniel pulled, not letting Raven know. She thought she convinced him to come home and they can be happy again, she needed him.
He was gone now.
"Fuck!" She yelled, dropping a plate and cutting herself, needing a bandaid, remembering her father doesn't have shit, giving up and sitting in the corner with tears in her eyes; just wanting things to go back to normal, not accepting any of this.
