She didn't have a normal life, she didn't think she ever would, lurking in the shadows and transferring from school to school to due to being an unhappy child. Raven Keene wasn't liking the life she was living, an emotionally absent mother, and a father who she only got to see once a week because that's the only time he wasn't downing himself in beer.
Her brother was her whole world, and yet, they were both at different schools, never properly seeing each other until after. It was hard, both being so closed off towards society, wondering what they did to be so upset with life. Raven liked to think her dad was different than her mother, at least with him, she would sometimes smile at how stupid he is sometimes.
When the time was right, she got him to sober up a little, but it barely lasted, yet she never gave up on her parents, wanting to be loved no matter what was going on.
Raven was content on the school she was at, always being with same two boys, having some friends, but it wasn't enough for her.
It wasn't enough until she saw this ray of sushine with a smile that could light up the whole room. He was different, he could be her saviour, and yet she barely knew him.

Hello everyone! Some of you have read my other fics and if not, hello and welcome! I've been in love with cobra kai and with the final season coming to an end i thought I should FINALLY post this fic that's been literally sitting in my drafts.
