Home didn't feel like home, eating her breakfast in silence with her brother, both watching the tv that was playing reruns of the office, laughing every few seconds. Raven was sad her brother wouldn't transfer schools to be with her again, but then again they were quite good at their new schools, not getting in trouble, least not yet."Are you ever going to cut your hair? It looks stupid like that." Raven told him, Robby turning face her. "I like my hair like this." He told her, Raven rolling her eyes.
"You aren't going to get a girlfriend with that hair."
"And you aren't going to get a boyfriend with that kind of attitude." He snapped back, both in foul mood this morning. Hearing a honk from outside, Raven checked her phone to see it was Eli, texting her to come down.
"Your friends can drive?" Robby asked, Raven smirking. "Yeah, maybe your douchebag friends should get theirs too." She teased, ruffling his head as she got up, grabbing her jacket.
"Have fun at school!" She yelled, making sure to grab her keys, shutting the door behind her. Rushing down the multiples stairs and soon going down to the receptionist desk, Raven grabbed herself three lollipops for her and the boys, heading into the back.
"Hello boys, let's ditch." She teased , Demetri sitting in the passenger seat of his mom's car, Raven handing Eli the lollipop.
"Do we have to go to school? I don't want to go." Raven whined in the backseat, Demetri rolling his eyes. "Don't worry ravenstein, everything is going to be okay." He teased, Raven hating that nickname.
"Hate that nickname." The girl mumbled, Eli chuckling a little. Raven knew that these two boys were the only thing that wasn't letting her act the way she usually does, their quietness and self awareness made her realize life is more than to be a depressed girl who has no parent figure, having two more brothers to point out her flaws.
It's what she needed.
Getting out of the car and looking at the popular kids with their cars, Raven cringed at all of them, liking Demetri's moms' Toyota, turning to see the two boys walking away so fast.
"Hey Raven!" Yelled moon, coming out of her jeep, waving at the girl. Smiling back at the girl, Raven tried to not see the rest of the guys, remembering how she told Kyler if he ever looked at her, his dick would go forever numb, catching up to the boys.
Walking into the school together and sighing, Raven didn't have her first class with the boys, putting the lollipop in the garbage as she sat in the middle of the room for math, getting her textbook out, hoping nobody would sit beside her.
Doodling on her pages and scrolling on social media off her phone, Raven didn't care about her grades anymore, as long as she wasn't failing she didn't need to worry. She hated having that mentality, but it was better than Robby with his two dumbass friends who always make him do the dirty work.
"Uh, do you mind if I sit here?" Turning to see a boy come sit down beside her anyways, Raven did a double take when she realized she hadn't met this kid before, nodding for approval.
"Miguel, I just moved here." He told her, Raven nodding her head. "Raven, it's only my second year here." She told him, Miguel taking a liking in her for a moment.
"Where'd you move from?" He asked her, Raven keeping her guard up. Being saved from the teacher handing out worksheets, Raven wish she could punch herself in the face to not do this, Miguel looking a little bored as well.
Hating awkward small talk, all Raven wanted to do was finish her work and leave class, Miguel looking a little confused with the questions. Being around Demetri and Eli helped Raven to understand the content a little easier, surrounded by two nerds that call themselves the binary brothers.
