Raven knew at a very young age she wasn't one to do things on demand, having a very short temper, not letting anyone change her perspective in life. So when she was standing at a car impound lot, she was questioning her dad's motives for them to be in the all valley tournament, crossing her arms.

She was lucky to be wearing shorts a shirt, her dad holding her leather jacket as he pounded back his beer. She thought about quitting multiple times, but something in her didn't want to, spending more time with her dad, enjoying the little moments.

"You've trained hard. You've gotten stronger, tougher, faster. You've done your best. You're ready for this tournament, am I right?"

"Yes, sensei!" Yelled the group, looking at Johnny as he was standing on a car. "Wrong!" Johnny yelled, throwing the van right at Raven as she tried to not pout at the fact she's now covered in beer, death staring her dad.

"Your best ain't shit! If you wanna win the All Valley Under 18 karate tournament, you gotta give me better than your best. Which is why from now on, you're gonna get my worst." He declared, Raven nearly terrified.

"Is he gonna get drunk?" She asked Miguel and Eli, also both wondering that now. "Do you understand?" Johnny asked the group.

"Yes Sensei!"

"Are you losers?"

"No sensei!"

"Are you nerds?"

"No sensei!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes sensei."

"No sensei!"

Being the only one to know what Johnny was saying, Raven pinched the bridge of her nose as others said no, looking at her dad to see how he was going to fix that. Watching him cover his face as he got off the van, the sun was beaming down on them as they walked over to an empty space, making an obstacle course.

Moving heavy tires and hoping she wouldn't break her back, Miguel came over with his tire, both panting already. "This is definitely worse than P.E." She said to him, Hawk coming with his tire.

"Why did we wear jeans?" He asked, holding his back for a moment. All going into a line and needing to do the obstacle course, Raven didn't think this was going to be an all day thing, her dad making them do four rounds of these all together, switching to another task.

She felt like she was in a montage with these moments, now being allowed to break things within the lot, getting a little too excited with those.

Breaking a bunch of windows and laughing as she does it, Miguel and Hawk a little concerned with how much she was liking it, Aisha also releasing a bunch of anger towards the cars.

"This so therapeutic." Aisha said, Raven yelling in agreement, on the other side of the car lot. Having Miguel come over, the two grabbed one large brick, throwing it down to the car below, high fiving each other. "Hey, how'd you date go with Samantha?" She asked, trying to be a supportive friend.

"Oh really good actually, golf n stuff is so fun." He said with the biggest smile on his face. Raven liked the way he smiled, happy that he was able to be with Samantha, knowing he's been pining on her since September.

"Well I'm glad, so you two official now?" She asked, getting down and hearing Johnny making them come back to him. "I think so, I mean we kissed—"

"You kissed her on the first date? Damn you player." Raven teased, pushing his shoulder a little playfully. Looking at him before they were given things, Raven tried to not let it affect her so much he was able to get a girlfriend so quickly, standing beside Aisha.
