Chapter 4: Luna

Pumasok ako sa loob ng bahay ni Janna with Dani following me. Syempre, tiningnan kami ng mga tao dito, probably wondering kung ba't kami magkasama ngayon given our reputation.

I was flabbergasted nang makita ko si Darcy in his long hair. OMG! He's in man bun. Lumawak ang ngiti niya nang makita ako.

"Mackenzie Hansen!" He called, walking towards me, widening his arms for me to hug. Niyakap ko siya nang mahigpit.

"I miss you so much," I said.

Niyakap niya ako pabalik. "Miss na rin kita," Bumitaw siya sa yakap at tiningnan ako mula ulo hanggang paa. "Look at you! You look so stunning." He pulled me on a cozy corner. "So, kumusta na kayo ni Dani, hm?"

I forced a smile. "We're good. I don't wanna talk about it."

Could it be that Darcy's the one who filmed us?

For some reason, hindi ko kayang magtiwala sa ibang kaibigan ko except Janna. I can't trust anyone. Ever since that stranger message me, everything is so silent. I hate it.

I contacted my manager, Jasmine, to help me pero hindi niya ma-track kung sino man ang taong 'yon. I was so frustrated. I hid it from my father kasi hindi ko kayang sabihin sa kanya ito.

I asked Janna to help me go through sa CCTV pero hindi abot doon ang camera. Someone really did filmed us. There were too many people inside the bar, I can't possibly contact them all.

If my sister was here, maybe she'll know what to do. My mind keeps drifting to her. Luna had been gone for two years now. Hindi ko siya kayang ma-blame sa paglayas niya sa bahay. She had felt a little bit out of place, but learning the truth pushed her over the edge.

A sudden break of glass on the floor broke my thoughts. My heart skipped a beat when I saw my sister. Luna. Her hair is longer than it was when I last saw her. Right now, she had a straight black hair and a bangs. It fits her so much especially Luna has a cat eyes.

I bit my lip to stop myself from crying at seeing her.

She spotted me and gave me a blank stare. Lalapit na sana siya nang biglang lumapit si Chase sa kanya. "Welcome back, rebel."

Tinaasan niya ng kilay si Chase. "Diba hiwalay na kayo ng kapatid ko? Why are you here?"

Chase was taken aback by her hostile behavior towards him. "I don't see it as a bad thing, Luna. It was a healthy breakup, wala akong nakikitang problema."

"That's not what I heard, Chase." Nilagpasan niya si Chase. "Oh, and by the way, the only problem here is your Mom didn't swallow you."

People here made an ooohh sound. I was shocked by the situation that I didn't realized Luna was pulling me to the balcony.

We both stood there in silence for awhile, tumingin ako kay Luna na nakatingin sa kalangitan. I bit my lip again to stop myself from crying, and suddenly I feel like a little child walking towards her to close the distance between us.

I hug Luna. I hugged my sister. "I've missed you," I said habang isa-isa nang tumulo ang luha sa mga mata ko. I was hugging her from her side and I bury my face in her neck.

Luna let out a sigh and then hug me back. Tightly. "You grow up so fast, Kinn. Kumusta kana? May mga tao bang hindi natin bati, hm?" I nod and let out a sob.

For a few minutes, we stayed there. Hugging. I feel so much better now.

Bumitaw siya sa yakap at pinunasan ang mga luha ko gamit ang kamay niya. She's staring at me with so much gentless. She's staring at me likc how Mom used to look at me.
