chapter four : stupid cupid with his bow and arrow
it was around 7:30 am, breakfast had been served and the strong scent of bacon, eggs, pancakes, syrup, fruit and other breakfast delicacies filled the air, making a delightful smell in great hall. fortis, pansy and blaise had all walked to breakfast together bright and early to get first picks of the warm food. meanwhile, sapphire was still getting ready and refused to leave her room until she thought she looked flawless
applying her expensive long lasting perfume, the final step of her long getting ready routine. she made her way out of her room venturing down to the common rooms, expecting to having to walk to the hall by herself, she didn't mind peace. silence was comforting. having to live in a house with 2 sisters and a brother, who never stopped arguing and talking, for so long she usually never had silence until late in the night when everyone could be found fast asleep
unexpectedly, draco sat on the common room couch just as he did last night, waiting for sapphire. "took you long enough" he rolled his eyes in complaint, sitting up quickly ready to go. his stomach rumbling in hunger
"you.. waited for me?" sapphire said adoringly, admiring the act of kindness draco had shown her. "of course i did. i'll look amazing stood next to a real member of the slytherin heir" he said playfully, she couldn't tell if he was joking or not but regardless she wasn't making her way to breakfast alone

the hall was packed with people, everyone bickering, excited but also dreading their first day of lessons. the air was warm and smelt of fresh coffee and food. the fireplace was lit and candles spread across the long tables danced to the sound of chatter and laughter, steaming porridge floating in the air to the high ceilings above. the tall windows, letting in streams of golden sunlight and making a bright start to the day.
sapphire sat down, beginning to choose what food she wanted to eat but was suddenly interrupted by a scream of joy, it was aurora.
"saph!! im in love. stupid cupid has hit me with his bow and arrow" she said in astonishment, her voice full of excitement "god who this time" fortis sarcastically said, his mouth full of food "bless this poor boy, i feel sorry for the fella"
