Could you please dumb it down

I walked out of the airport in the DC area and saw Captain Mitchell was waiting. He was pleased to see me. He was waiting for his daughter to show up. I explained my reinstatement. He asked me to see him in the morning. He promised that everything would be okay. He has a new team now but they will be more than compliant with his orders. I shook his hand as I saw his daughter walked out. I wished him well and got a taxi. When I reached my apartment and saw Alex was waiting for me. She looked at me from head to toe and walked away. I was shivering head to toe wondering how that woman was planning to kill me. She had many opportunities but she had chosen to render me unconscious.
The next morning I received a call from the captain and I arrived at the crime scene where I was introduced to the recruits. The first was an African American from his posture I would say Ex-Military. The next was a Caucasian woman who may have stopped using the uniform car recently and the final was a Hispanic man that may have been transferred from another department. From his posture and clothes I would say Narcotics. Captain assisted me so I can go past the tape and showed me the body. It was a pile of bones. Which I had to reassemble to figure out what was going on. When I was done I began to explain which was hard because the Army guy kept interrupting. "Asymmetrical Spinal Subluxation" He jumped up, "What?" I waved my hand, "His spine is not straight that is typical of those who carry heavy loads on their back. The collar bone has calcified to ensure that it won't snap. Bite marks on the Tibia most likely canine" He asked me, "So he is from Tibet?" I shook my head as I tried to keep a straight face. "Dogs bite on his leg. So most likely he is a postal worker" Then the woman replied, "Could be a cat burglar" I nod my head but pointed out that cat burglars don't break their backs. They would stand out like a sour thumb. She nod her head and the captain asked that they do a DNA test to figure out who he is. They even reconstructed his face and ran it through facial recognition through the missing persons database.
I sat down for my hot chocolate and potato chips when Captain showed up with a bright smile to tell me that I was right. I shrugged it off and the Army guy looked at me weirdly but said nothing further. I asked that I be introduced to the team. The Army guy was George. The woman was Samantha and Antonio was the kind Hispanic. They wanted to know how I knew these things and the Captain boasted that I found a killer once with just looking at a blood splatter. I also found killers in other ways as well but he seemed to be very fond of this story. I asked the Captain if he could get me a subpoena to check the floorplans on the property he was found in. It turns out when the property changed hands the size of certain rooms had mysterious shrunk. Comparing notes I realized that there was a secret room. So with a warrant to search the property, I searched the most like places and found a padlock. After I picked it open I found a group of women who were chained to the wall. They were dehydrated and malnourished. Five Ambulances later we were able to have the place checked for prints and it was all over the place. It took us a few hours before they were lucid enough to tell us anything. The culprit turned out to be a school teacher. This sick man was arrested and I watched as he tried to talk his way out of it. He looked ten different types of stupid when the women confirm it was him. And his DNA was a perfect match the semen found there so he looked like a goldfish that was taken out of water for a few minutes. Opening and closing his mouth rapidly trying to come up with a plausible explanation. Each time he stops himself because he knows that his side of the story would look ridiculous. I had to admit I miss this very much. I walked out and saw that the guys were writing their paperwork. They saw me and nod their heads to ask me to wait till they were finished. Unfortunately one of my clients called so I asked the captain's permission to leave. I promised to meet him bright and early the next day.
Carrie was waiting for me outside the station and she was frightened. Her daughter was missing and the police kept telling her to wait for another Eighteen hours. I promised her that Esme will be found before that time was up. I asked if she kept the bracelet I gave her. She smiled, "My daughter never takes it off." I used the cell towers and found her in a dingy apartment. I had associates that helped me bring her home. She paid me my fee and promised that she will never tell anyone about how I found her. I turned to see a smug captain and his new team behind him. I just shrugged it off and walked towards the taxi stand. Captain stopped me promising to drop me home but first I had to stop by the park where we first met. This is going to be a long night.
