Today was exactly a week before mum's birthday and she still hadn't mentioned the idea of a party, so i decided i would take matters into my own hands.

I had just arrived at the Bellingham's house so i could speak with Denise, and hopefully get something planned.

'A surprise party!' Denise said excitedly as we began talking.

'Exactly what i was thinking! We could do it when her and dad come back from their trip away.' i suggested.

'Great minds think alike!' Denise laughed. 'And yes, that would be brilliant. So they'll come back from Greece, we'll give it a few days and then the party?'

'Yes! They go away in five days, and they are gone for four. Which means three nights in total.'

'You could spend those few nights here whilst they're away, so we can plan stuff out better!' Denise said.

'That'd be great.' I smiled.

'I'll see if i can speak to Jude, i don't know if he'll be busy. But i'd love for him to come over for it.' Denise said.

'I'm sure we'd all love that.'

Denise and i made a pretty good plan to start things out, but there would still be lots of work to be done.

I was just heading towards the front door to leave, when Jobe came down the stairs.

'hey gorgeous.' he smiled.

'shut up.' i laughed, grabbing my shoes.

'chill, i'm joking.' He rolled his eyes, laughing too. 'What are you doing in my house this time then?'

'I was speaking to your mum about birthday party plans.' I explained. 'It's my mums birthday next week.'

'Exciting.' He smiled, i nodded.

I turned to open the door, but he said my name, i turned back around.

'Yes?'

'What are you up to tonight?' he said shyly.

'Nothing really, was going to do some work on my youtube or something. Why'd you ask?'

'Oh well in that case nevermind, you do your youtube and stuff.' he nodded.

'Jobe if you wanna hang out just say that,' i laughed. 'Come to mine later, around 6 or something.'

A smile appeared on his face and he nodded.

'I'm glad you said that. I'll see you later.' he said, disappearing into the kitchen.

Kaliyah had just left and i headed into the kitchen to see what mum was up to.

'I heard all of that.' she said as i walked in the room, she had a huge smile across her face.

'why are you so happy about it?' I chuckled, feeling slightly embarrassed.
