The new kid (Bakugou x Reader)

Chapter one

Y/n POV

"Y/n! Dinner's ready!" my mom called out from downstairs, "I'm not really hungry mom! I'll eat later!" I called back at her. I wasn't really that hungry, and this was my last time of trying to shift. I've watched anime for a long time now, and i've always wanted to actually try living in one. So when I heard about shifting, I tried it out, but it didn't work. Now, if you know me, then you know that I have NO patience. Like 0. So I decided, that I'm going to try this 5 times. If id doesn't work, it's bullshit. So that's what I did, and I failed 4 times. Which meant that this was my last try, if this one didn't work out, then I'll have to continue living in this sad and fucked up world.

(A/N-just a disclaimer, i have no idea how to do it, so I'm just going to be making something up) So I did the same thing that I have tried doing the last 4 times, and after a while, I could just hear birds singing. I opened my eyes because there was no way in hell that I was in my bedroom if I heard the birds, and I was right. I in facts wasn't in my bedroom. "It worked..?" I mumbled to myself, but I was quickly distracted by a voice that I've heard way too many times.

"Y/n?! Are you okay??!" the voice said, so I turned around to see a a black haired, tall familiar figure. "Oh my god I'm so glad that you survived!" the figure quickly started running towards me, and hugged me. "You're mother sent me a letter before the villains got to her. She told me that you would come back to me.." I stood there frozen. I didn't know what to say. I had no idea what had happened since this wasn't part of the anime I had seen a million times. So I decided to play dumb. I didn't know who this man was to me in this scenario, and from the things that he said, I decided to play that I had no memory.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" I asked looking at him. "Do you not know who I am?" he asked looking at me in shock and disbelief. Of course I knew who he was, I just couldn't tell him that. "No.. I'm sorry.." I said waiting for his answer. "I'm your father. Shota Aizawa." he answered with a few tears in his eyes, "Do you remember what happened to you and your mom Y/n?", "No.. Could you tell me, please?" I said so I could figure out more context, "Yeah.. why don't we go inside first so we don't just stand here." so we went inside the teachers house at UA.

"So, you and your mom have been living together since you were 4 years old. I had to leave for pro hero work, but I have been visiting you every year, until.. I became a teacher here. I wasn't able to visit since then, and that's the time when your mother has started having problems with some villains. Unfortunately, I didn't know about this until today. If I had known.. I would've saved your mother, and your memories.. but that doesn't matter anymore. Just so you know, your quirk is elements and erasure. Which means that you can control all the elements: water, fire, air, earth and you can erase people's quirks. Just like me. Now that you know the main things about yourself, I have to figure out where you're gonna stay-" when he was just finishing that sentence, another familiar figure came in the building. "Heeeey Aizawa- W-Who's that?" the figure said but stopped as he noticed me, "Y/n, this is Present Mic, Mic, this is Y/n. My daughter." ..

"You had a daughter this whole time and you never thought about telling me?!" Mic said and sat infront of us, "Welcome to UA high!" he said and shaked my hand, "Well, we have to go to principal Nezu to sort out where she'll stay. See you later Mic." Aizawa said and stood up. He showed me to follow him so I did, and we went to see the principal. Damn the school looks better than I imagined.. I thought, and we got to the principal's office. After that we went inside and Aizawa introduced me to principal Nezu and arranged a place for me in UA. He then took me to the class 1A dorms. Thankfully, there was one empty dorm. So we went there and we opened the door to the common room.

"Mina, go get the others please." Aizawa told the pink girl. Now, of course I already knew everyone's name, so it won't be an issue to get to know everyone. I began scanning the room to see who else was there, and I saw Denki, Kirishima, Sero and of course Mina who wen't to get the others. The people that were there looked at me trying to figure out who I was, but they couldn't. After a while Mina came back with the others and Aizawa told them to sit.

"So this is your new classmate." he said pointing at me, "She came here today. Please be nice to her, she just went through a lot and she will need some friends, so I hope that you'll make her feel welcome." he said and looked at me, "Hi, I'm Y/n Aizawa. I hope I won't be a lot of trouble.." after I said my last name, a lot of there faces were in shock. "Wait so you're his daughter?" Denki asked, "Yeah, I am " I replied. "Damn, i didn't know that you had a daughter sensei." Kirishima said looking at both of us. "Okay, I have to go do something but make her feel welcome and I will see you all in class in 2 days. If you need anything just call me okay?"he tells me and I just nod and then he gets out. Immediately Mina rushes towards me and starts asking me questions. She leads me onto the couch to sit down with everyone.

"So what's it like being Aizawa's daughter?" Mina asked, with everyone looking at me. "Honestly, I don't really know. I lived with my mom until now, but the villains got her. At least that's what I've been told. I don't have any memory because they got me as well I guess? So my dad had to tell me everything about me." as I said that, the whole room went silent. "I'm sorry for dumping that on you." I told them, "No it's okay.. Are you okay though?" Mina asked, "Yeah I guess I am. If I would've had all my memories then I don't think I would." i just shrugged and looked back at her. "Okay well, if you need anyone to talk to I'm here, or anyone from this class." she smiled at me. I just thanked her and then she started introducing people to me.

"So this is Kirishima," she said pointing at him and he just waved, "Yeah I know." i then realised what I had just said, "I saw him on TV, that's how." I quickly said so they wouldn't think anything of it, and then she continued to introducing the others. everyone was really sweet and they looked like they were actually interested in me and that they cared.

After a while of chatting, it started to get really late, so we all went to bed.  This is definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made. I thought, but shifting definitely was the best decision I could've ever made..
