I was lying in the bed holding my and Andy's son. He was perfect and he looked just like Andy. Andy was sitting in the chair next to me just admiring the view.

"You know they said you could go get the family if we wanted to bring them in..." I trailed off and he sighed.

"I just wanted some time without the madness of the family coming in. I wanted time with you and our new son." Andy stood up and kissed my forehead. I closed my eyes and sighed at his touch. "You did amazing."

"Can you believe he is here?" I asked, Andy shook his head and kissed the top of the baby's head.

"I can't but he is certainly perfect." Andy said and I nodded. We were silent and I knew I needed to say something.

"Hey, remember when I was on bedrest and I was upset because I was missing everything...?" I asked and Andy nodded. "You know I didn't mean to bring up you lying again right? I never meant that I was just stressed and tired." I said and Andy nodded. He leaned down kissing me.

"I never thought anything of it Mel, it stung in the moment, but I knew it was just hormones and you being upset." Andy said and I smiled at him. We were just looked at the baby sleeping in my arms when a nurse came in.

"Your family is asking questions in the waiting room..." She smiled and Andy laughed. He then walked out of the room to the waiting room. I just held my son knowing he was making this family complete, he was making this dream a reality.

The door soon opened back up and Andy walked in carrying Faith and Jacob was beside him and my parents followed. I smiled at everyone.

Andy walked over with Faith and Jacob to one side of the bed and my parents were on the other.

"Oh, Mel he is perfect." My mom said and I smiled.

"What name did you pick?" My dad asked and I smiled at Andy.

"I want everyone to meet Landon Andrew Barber." I said and everyone smiled.

"THAT'S THE NAME THAT I SUGGESTED!" Faith exclaimed and I quickly covered the baby's ears. I smiled and nodded.

"You said you had a friend by that name that you really liked, and you liked the name so did Andy and me. We hope it's, okay?" I asked and she nodded. Andy set her easily on the bed.

"It's really okay!" She said. She leaned easily over me and kissed the baby's cheek.

"Hi baby brother Landon." She whispered and I smiled at Andy.

Faith was who we were mostly worried about. We knew she had accepted the pregnancy, but it was when the baby arrived that was what we were most worried about. I looked at Jake. "You want to hold him?" I asked and he nodded. I handed the baby to Jake, and he was so nervous. He looked down at the baby though and smiled.

"He looks like dad." Jacob said and we smiled.

"He does but Andy doesn't see it." I said and Andy just rolled his eyes.

"When can we all go home?" Faith asked and I smiled down as her as she cuddled into my side.

"Well, a day or so. You will be going to grandpa and grandmas tonight."

"Why can't I go home with dad?" Faith whined.

"Because I'm going to stay here with mom tonight and make sure everything is okay. When we get to leave with Landon, we will be home." Andy said and I nodded.

"One night, two tops." I said to her, and she nodded.

"And just think of all the fun we can have while you are with us." My mom said and Faith smiled. I knew they had their special girl times. It was all princess and fairy movies and ice cream sundaes. It was always the same with me and my mom when I was younger.

The nurse came walking in as Jacob handed the baby off to my mom who I knew was itching to hold the baby.

How is everyone doing?" She asked.

"We are good, he is going to be staying tonight." I said to the nurse meaning Andy would be staying and she nodded.

"Well, I wanted to come in and see if we could work on the first feeding." She suggested and I nodded. Everyone kissed my cheek, and I was handed back the baby. Andy went over to the couch and sat down.

"Can I send Lynne photos? She is bugging me." Andy laughed and I laughed with a nod.

"You better before she fires you." I smiled.

"Okay let's try to get him to latch on." The nurse said and I nodded.

**ANDY POV**

Mel was asleep and everyone else had gone home. The night nurse brought the baby in for a feeding with a bottle since Mel was asleep and I didn't want to wake her just to stress her, breast feeding wasn't going so well.

I sat in the rocking chair the room had and gently rocked my son as I fed him.

My son, I never thought I would be back here, I never thought I would get this chance again. When I had Jacob and then did what I did during his trial I never thought I would be here again, I wasn't sure I ever wanted to be here again but then I met Mel, and everything changed.

I had made mistakes in my life, and I knew I was lucky enough to be where I was right now with Mel and my family. Mel, Jacob, Faith and now Landon. Faith was another added surprise I never saw coming but when I walked in the door that night and saw Faith, I knew she belonged, she was meant to be ours. She had a hard life and there are times we are still working through some of that, but she is now a Barber through and through.

Jacob would be leaving for college in a few years, and I couldn't even imagine it. He already said he was hoping to stay close to home, Sarah was too, and I knew wherever one went the other would follow. Sarah was good for Jacob, and I knew they would last.

"Hey, what are you doing over there?" I heard Mel sleepily ask since I was sitting by the window in the room.

"Feeding Landon." I said and she smiled sweetly.

"I could have tried feeding him again." Mel said sounding disappointed.

"Mel, it's okay. I know you wanted to have the full experience, but formula is okay too." I said walking over to her with Landon. She moved on the bed, and I got into bed easily with her.

"And to be honest, it was hard sleeping without you." I said and Mel nodded with a smile leaning her head on my shoulder.

"I know I didn't like it either." Mel yawned.

"Sweetie, go back to sleep, I will be up to take care of Landon." I said and I looked over at Mel to see her already asleep. I smiled to myself and then looked at Landon.

"Thank you for coming into our lives buddy. You are the greatest gift to us." I said, leaned down and kissed Landon's forehead.
