**FEW MONTHS LATER**
I was sitting on the couch holding Landon as Andy put Faith on his shoulders.
"Can you reach it?" Andy asked her and she nodded as she placed the star on the top of the Christmas tree.
"Jakey! Turn on the lights!" Faith exclaimed still on Andy's shoulders. Jake turned on the lights to the Christmas tree and we all sat in wonder at it. Andy took Faith from his shoulders and looked down at me.
"It looks amazing guys. Landon and mom approve." I said and they all chuckled.
"Well Landon is sleeping so he fell asleep on the job." Jacob said and we laughed.
"Meh, he is awake and catching everything so I would watch out Jake. That kid can magically appear in your room tonight." Andy said and we all laughed again.
"Hey, I wouldn't care. If you guys ever want a break, just bring him down." Jacob said and I smiled.
"I could even take him one night!" Faith said wanting to feel included.
"You are still a little too young to leave him under your care but maybe some night he could sleep in your room." I said and she smiled.
There was a knock on the front door, and I looked at Jacob as he smiled and rushed to the door.
"Sarah?" Andy asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, since they are going to be out of town for Christmas, they are exchanging gifts now and she wanted to come and see Landon one more time before they left." I chuckled and Andy nodded, sitting next to me on the couch.
"Hey Mel, Andy, Faithy." Sarah said walking in and Faith ran to Sarah and jumped in her arms giving her a hug.
"We got the tree up and I put the star on top!" Faith exclaimed and Sarah smiled and marveled at the tree.
"It looks amazing!" Sarah said and then saw Landon. "Can I hold him?" She asked me and I nodded.
"Of course, give my arms a break." I said and she laughed as I leaned into Andy once she had Landon. I looked at her and Jacob cooing with Landon and I felt Andy tense up.
"You okay?" I asked and he didn't say anything, but he was watching Jacob and Sarah too. "Oh, come on, you can't be serious..." I trailed off.
"I wasn't much older than him when Laurie got pregnant." Andy said and I sighed shaking my head.
"Jacob and Sarah won't be like you and Laurie." I said and Andy just sighed.
As Faith, Jacob and Sarah had Landon, Andy grabbed my hand and took me to the front window.
"You see what I see?" Andy asked. I saw snow falling outside.
"Packing snow. Faith will get to build a snowman." I said and Andy nodded. He walked behind me and wrapped his arms around my midsection. I tried shrinking away from him since I hadn't lost all my baby weight, but Andy held on to me tightly.
"Stop it Mel, you have nothing to be self-conscious about. You look amazing." Andy said and gently kissed my neck, and I smiled wrapping my arms around his on me.
We turned and we saw Sarah, Jacob and Faith taking selfies with Landon by the tree.
"Can you believe this family we have?" Andy asked and I smiled leaning my head back on his shoulder.
"It's a pretty good family." I said and Andy nodded but I could tell the wheels were turning in his head.
"So, I was thinking..." Andy said.
"Okay...dangerous." I said and he nipped at my neck, and I laughed.
"What would you say if I said I was maybe wanting to have another baby." Andy said and I quickly got out of his grip and turned to look at him.
"Andy..." I trailed off.
"No wait, I think you misunderstood..." Andy said, and I looked at him oddly. "Not a human baby but like a puppy..." Andy whispered.
"A puppy? What is bringing this on?" I asked.
"Well Faith has been asking and I thought if we got her one big Christmas gift and went to the shelter and got a puppy she would be over the moon." Andy said and I sighed and looked around. I didn't even know what to say.
"Are you sure about this?" I asked and Andy nodded.
"Yeah, we could even go now, a few days before Christmas so he or she will be able to get used to us while we are all home." Andy suggested.
"Fine, once Sarah leaves, we will go." I said and Andy leaned in and passionately kissed me.
"What would you have said if I said another actual baby?" Andy asked and I shrugged.
"I don't know...I mean would you want another baby?" I asked.
"Landon is pretty great..." Andy chuckled.
"Seriously Andy? I mean I'm on the pill, but I could go off..." I said and Andy smiled wrapping his arms around me again, pulling me flush to him.
"What if you went off the pill and we just didn't try and just let nature take its course?" Andy suggested and I smiled at him.
"I like that idea, when should I go off the pill?" I asked.
"Around Landon's first birthday..." Andy said, and I nodded.
"Sounds like a plan." I said. Andy leaned down to passionately kissed me, but I heard Landon getting fussy.
"Mom!" Jacob said and I walked into the living room to see Faith plugging her nose and Sarah holding Landon at arm's length. I knew exactly what that meant.
"I'll go change him." I said and Andy nodded as I walked upstairs once I took Landon from Sarah.

After Sarah had left Andy and I got Faith and Landon set up to go out in the winter, Jacob put on his winter coat.
"Where are we going?" Faith asked as we drove.
"Well, when dad and I walked away from you guys early we had a phone call to take from Santa." I said and she gasped in shock.
"He wanted us to take you to pick out the family Christmas gift this year." Andy continued. She was clapping and very excited. I looked at Jake and he smiled, seeming to know. Andy pulled up at the animal shelter and Faith practically screamed which I was worried about Landon, but dude just ignored it.
Andy picked up Faith before we walked in, and I pushed Landon in the stroller.
"I get to pick?!" Faith asked.
"Yep, a doggy or kitty, either one." I said and Andy nodded.
We walked down the aisle and rows of animals and we finally got to the last cage, and we all stopped to looking in. It was a puppy and a kitten curled together.
"Excuse me, what's the story with these two?" I asked the worker walking by.
"Oh, that's our jack russel puppy Stitch and the calico cat is Lilo. A boy and girl who were rescued together and refuse to be separated. We have tried but they just cry for each other. We are adopting them out as a pair."
I rolled my eyes at the names, not because it was annoying but because that was Faith and Jacobs favorite movie to watch together. I looked at Andy and he just shrugged, and I half nodded.
"Mommy! I love them! Please!! Santa said I could pick, and I pick them!" Faith said and I looked at Jacob and he was nodding vigorously.
"You okay with this?" I asked him and he nodded.
"I think it's fate." Jake said and I nodded.
"I think so too. Andy?" I asked and he looked at the worker.
"Can I have the paperwork to fill out to adopt them please?" Andy asked as Faith wrapped herself around Andy's legs hugging him.
A new baby, now a puppy and kitten...did we love chaos?
