Without You.. || Obanai Iguro X Reader

Chapter 4-𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗸𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

Y/N and obanai had just left the ubuyashiki estate and is now traveling to the given address shinjuro rengoku had given them (to meet up).

Y/N looks around for shinjuro.

"Is this the right place?.."Y/N asked obanai as they both looked around for the flame-haired male.

They then turned around to the sound of something, or rather someone, approach them.

"Ah, rengoku-san.. we were just talking about you!.."Y/N said in anticipation.

"Oh really now?.."Shinjuro dryly chuckled.

"We should get going, shall we?.."he stated.

Both Y/N and obanai nodded and started their walk to mr rengokus's family estate.

"Here kids. Hop on my back so your legs wont get tired.."Shinjuro stated as he came to a halt.

"Are you sure you'll be able to carry us both mr.rengoku?.."Y/N asked in concern, while obanai just remained quiet the whole time.

"Im sure. I've got 2 kids at home so I'll be fine. So just hop on my back or we'll just walk the whole way."shinjuro explained sternly.

After the two had got on shinjuro's back they continued their journey to his estate.

The estate was a bit far, but since shinjuro picked up the pace they'd arrive in less than an hour. This way Y/N could enjoy looking at the beautiful while it lasts. Without the demons and cruel evildoers, the world would've been a better place. And us demon slayers will defeat them..to restore Japan's peace.

"Here we are kiddos dont nake yourself too at home."shinjuro spoke up.
"Woahh, its so big thanks for having us here!"y/n exclaimed."
"Yeahhh..thanks."Obanai mumbled as they all walked in.
(They took off their shoes tho🙃)

"Oi kyojuro!.. senjuro! C'mere.."Shinjuro yelled out.

Hmm..i assume those are his kids that he was speaking of?... i hope their nice! Y/N thought.

Not even a second later there were footsteps coming towards the three.

"Yes father?.."The older one spoke up. He looked about a year younger than me. The younger one was hiding behind his older brother.

"Father, who are these two??.."The older one questioned, while eyeing us.

"Hi, im Y-"

"These are some kids i found on a mission. I told em they could stay for a while."Shinjuro interrupted.

"How rude. I know your not talking to Y/N-san like that."Obanai muttered.

"What was that kid?.."Shinjuro said eyeing Obanai.

"Nothing."

"What're your names?..Im kyojuro!"the boy, now known as kyojuro, questions the two.

"Im Y/N L/N, And that's my friend Obanai Iguro!.."Y/N said while pointing at obanai.

"Thank you for allowing us to stay at your residence rengokus's"Y/N bowed, Obanai followed shortly.

"No need for formalities, we're friends now!"kyojuro extended his hand.

"Oh, ok.."She shook his hand, then blushed due to the physical touch. Obanai did not like one bit of that.

"Come, I'll show you guys the guest room!"kyojuro once again took a hold of y/n's hand and ran to the guest room. With of course obanai following behind them.

"Sorry there was only one guest room.. if you want i could get 2 separate futo-"

"NO ITS OKAY!..we could uhh.. share the futon."Obanai exclaimed. His cheek turned a bright pink.

"Uh, ok. only if y/n is comfortable with this.."Kyojuro said as he eyed obanai awkwardly then turned his attention to y/n.

"Im perfectly fine with what you chose obanai!.."y/n smiled.

Kyojuro side-eyed obanai and continued talking.
"Since y/n is fine with it i guess you guys could share the futon.."

Obanai muttered a small "yes!" In victory, little did he know kyojuro heard it.

Kyojuro had brought them some food since the two hadn't ate for a whole entire day. Y/N had Udon topped with tempura and saved some onigiri for a snack. Obanai had some tororo kombu along with some tea.Though he didn't seem to touch his food. Kyojuro, who decided to eat with us, had some miso soup with sweet potatoes.

"Obanai-kun, why wont you touch your food?"y/n asked in concern as she realized that he has yet not to touch his food.

"Im just not.. comfortable with him in here.."obanai said as he side-eyed kyojuro.

"Huh. What'd i do?.."kyojuro looked at him in annoyance.

"I dont feel comfortable about eating infront of people, especially you kyojuro.."obanai said.

Kyojuro slurped the last of his soup and got up.

"Fine then, ill take my leave.. i wish you a good night y/n.. and you too i guess."kyojuro said before shutting the door.

Y/N's eyes met obanai's, before looking down at his bandages.

"Why do you wear bandages?.."y/n asked in curiosity.

"It's because of the snake demon, and i look terrifying without my bandages.. its better if you dont look im a monster.."he said in a sad tone.

"No, obanai, i think you'd look beautiful even with your scars. I'd never judge you, your scars make you unique in some way. Even if you decide to continue wearing bandages to cover up the scars, I'd always support you."she said as she held his hand to make him comfortable, which only made his cheeks a pink hue. So she quickly let go and rested her hand on his shoulder instead.

"You're perfect in my eyes obanai-kun.. dont ever call yourself terrifying again..."she said in a serious tone.

Obanai smiled and kept in tears from spilling out.

He then started removing his bandage, very slowly.

The last piece fell to the ground as he shifted his eyes somewhere else, thinking y/n is terrified.

"You're beautiful obanai."y/n said with a smile before hugging obanai. He also hugged back smiling while blushing.

Y/N and obanai finished up their food and set their dishes on a desk. they'd clean it up tomorrow since they were so tired.

They both drifted off to sleep peacefully. Obanai with a small smile on his face, slept with y/n resting on his left arm.

Damn, thats gonna definitely cramp tomorrow.
