(Time skip to mt natagumo.) IM SORRY IM TOO LAZY TO CONTINUE THE SLOW BURN CHAPTERS!!)

Y/N sprinted through the dense
forest, her heart pounding in her chest as she made her way towards Mt. Natagumo. Her crow, Yori, had delivered an urgent message, sending her on this new mission. The air was thick with tension, and the eerie silence was only broken by the occasional rustle of leaves underfoot.

As she approached the mountain, the sight that greeted her was horrifying. Injured Demon Slayers lay scattered across the ground, some barely clinging to life, others appearing lifeless with their limbs twisted in unnatural angles. Y/N's stomach churned at the gruesome scene, but she steeled herself and pressed on.

"What the hell." She made a face of disgust, scanning the surroundings.

Suddenly, a noise caught her attention. She turned and saw Tanjiro Kamado locked in a battle with a Lower Rank Kizuki. He looks like a spider. Without hesitation, Y/N unsheathed her sword and prepared to use Moon Breathing's First Form: Dark Moon, Evening Palace. She focused her breathing, channeling her energy into her blade. With a swift, horizontal slash, she unleashed a series of crescent-shaped blades that sliced through the air, decapitating the demon in an instant.

Tanjiro and his sister Nezuko were saved, but Y/N barely had time to catch her breath before she sensed another presence.

"Long time no se—"

She quickly moved to shield Tanjiro and Nezuko, her eyes scanning the surroundings for the source of the threat. Out of the shadows emerged the insect piller, Shinobu Kocho, her eyes held no emotion. cold and calculating. In a flash, Shinobu lunged at Nezuko, her blade aimed to kill her. Y/N deflected the attack just in time, her sword clashing with Shinobu's.

"What do you think your doing, protecting a traitor of the corps?" She kept a creepy smile, keeping her sword in hand.

"Okay so, this is tanjir—"

Before the situation could escalate further, Giyuu appeared, his presence commanding attention. He landed infront of y/n. He then gestured to Tanjiro with a low, urgent voice, "Run, Tanjiro. Take your sister and run, even if your body is aching. Run for it."

'Damn it, can i not be interrupted for a minute?' She groaned, clearly annoyed of the situation.

Tanjiro hesitated for a moment, but the determination in Giyuu's eyes spurred him into action. He scooped Nezuko into his arms and dashed away, leaving Y/N and Giyuu to face Shinobu. The tension between the three was palpable as Shinobu voiced her disapproval. "Why are you protecting them? It's against the Corps' rules."

Y/N stepped forward, her voice firm but calm. "I see good in Tanjiro, and I believe his sister wouldn't harm a human. We can't just follow the rules blindly when there's a chance for something greater."

'Yes! I said a sentence!'

Shinobu's eyes narrowed, eyeing the two. but before she could respond, their crows circled above, delivering a new message. "Report to the Master's mansion immediately."

Y/N sighed, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle over her. She had hoped to return home, but Yori, her crow, landed on her shoulder and cawed insistently. "You must go too, Y/N. The Master has chosen you to become a Hashira. You must attend the meeting."

Y/N groaned, realizing she couldn't go home just yet.

"Whatttt. I thought i refused?"

With a resigned sigh, she followed Giyuu and Shinobu back to the mansion, dragging her feet with each step. The walk was long and silent, each of them lost in their thoughts.
