(This is the second part to the chapter "Unexpected Visitor" but you don't have to have read it to understand this chapter)

You accompanied your boyfriend to his home grand prix and decided to bring your Yorkie, Millie to the paddock. When you found her, or when she found you in a parking lot four months ago, you looked for her owner but no one has claimed the small dog, so you decided to keep her.

Walking into the paddock with Millie on a pink and rose gold leash, you and Logan were crowded by photographers as usual, but the attention was mainly directed to Millie. It definitely wasn't the first time there was an animal in the paddock but since Logan was a very private person, the appearance of not just you but your dog rocked the paddock. The Internet and paddock had gone virtually ballistic when you first accompanied him to a race, so you could only imagine the reception to you bringing a dog. The small Yorkie dealt with big crowds and people very well, so you had no doubt bringing her. Logan picked her up, lightly giving her a boogie, ruffling though her dark brown and grey fur.

"I'm so glad she's well behaved," Logan remarked, holding Millie with one hand as he opened the door to the hospitality suite in the other.

"Me too," you smiled at your boyfriend ans the faces of surrounding team members who were enamored with your dog.

"Today is a media heavy day, so feel free to leave early without me," he handed Millie over to you before being whisked away by the PR team.

Thursday media days always went by pretty quickly for you, since you used this time to catch up with the other partners of drivers. Throughout the day, Logan checked in on you, and on his break, he took Millie on a walk, which the photographers of the paddock captured every moment of. You decided to leave with Logan at the end of the day, sneaking out the back to leave undetected.

Friday and Saturday we're uneventful, but fans on the Internet and at the track adored Millie and some had dmed you to make the Yorkie her own Instagram like Lewis had for Roscoe. You were comsidering it, but thought about doing it later, after the race weekend. The night before the race you were sitting in bed with Logan with Millie resting in your arms.

"I hope she's my lucky charm this weekend," he whispered, "it'd be super nice to get points here,"

"Yeah I really like the sound of that," you stroked Millie's soft fur on her back, observing the rise and fall of her body as she rested. The apartment fell quiet and Logan drifted off to sleep. You were still awake, taking in the serenity of the moment. It wasn't long until you fell asleep, and Millie scurried out of your arms to curl up on her own bed in the corner of the room.

Race day came along quickly as you walked through the now very familiar paddock.

"The team said you could leave Millie with a team member in the hospitality suite so you can watch from the garage," Logan explained to you as you went through the swipe gates.

"Sounds good babe," you gave him a kiss on the cheek as you picked Millie up to go into the hospitality suite.

You didn't get to see Logan for most of the day on race day, having to part ways with him in the morning. To kill time, you posted pictures of Millie on your story and walked about the paddock so she could have her activity for the day. The reception online was extremely positive with some fanpages popping up, which you found cute. Maybe a little creepy that people were taking and posting pictures of you and your dog without you knowing but you knew they had good intentions.

45 minutes before the race start, you handed Millie to the team, and you were directed to the garage. You liked to watch the races you attended from the hospitality suite or the grandstands if you went unrecognized, but you had a feeling that this Sunday was special. Before the start of the race, and during, the camera panned to you in the garage because of the important of this race to not only Williams, but to Logan as well.

The race itself was quite chaotic with Magnussen nearly sending Logan into the barriers, but luckily Logan was able to use his DRS to keep his distance from the Danish driver. Starting from P13, Logan was now in P11, in the fight for points. With just ten laps left, you were starting to feel very anxious about the race result, until Bottas, the car in tenth had an engine failure, bringing out the safety car, and Logan moving up one place. When the safety car had finally exited the track, Magnussen had closed the gap significantly, leaving you on the edge of your seat. The Williams and the Haas were neck and neck until the very end, but Logan managed to snatch the finally point. You let out a sigh of relief, thought it was one point, it helped out the team and it gave Logan the confidence boost he needed.

A little after the race and the podium celebrations you picked up Millie from the Williams staff and found your boyfriend to congratulate him.

"I'm so proud of you," you swooned, his post-race glow looking more attractive than usual.

"Thanks," he pulled you in for a side hug, his race suit tied around his waist, and the sleeves of his fire proof slightly rolled up. "Maybe this dog was just what I needed," he grinned, scratching Millie's back.

You smiled at him until you had realized what he said. "Just the dog?"

"Okay," he laughs, "I needed you here too, the dog just sweetened the deal,"
