No Perspective

Harry sits in the dark room, hearing nothing but howling from the wind and seeing nothing but dark shadows from the moonlight peeking through the curtains.

His heart is racing—not because he's nervous, but because what he hopes to be the outcome of all of this is making his stomach swirl with excitement—hope even.

He has one goal in mind. To get his girl back.

He doesn't plan on failing.

Harry hears a car approaching the house from the tires echoing on the gravel outside, the car shuts off and a door closes.

A key jingles, indicating it's being pushed into the front door, the handle turns and the door opens.

The creak of the door echoes the dark room, its so silent in there his ears are ringing.

The lights in the house turn on—"What the fuck?!"

Enzo jumps back, startled by the sight of Harry sitting in his chair to his right.

"How did you get in here?!"

Harry shrugs, "The basement window."

Enzo's eyes squint, "You broke in?" Harry nods.

His eyes widen, he runs straight upstairs—ignoring the fact that the one person he hates and has tried avoiding for months is sitting in his living room.

He shouts Delilah's name, checking every single upstairs room for her.

With no luck finding her, he runs back downstairs with his gun pointed at Harry, keeping quite a distance between them.

Out of breath he spits, "Harry where the fuck is she?"

Harry stands, not fazed by the gun being aimed at his head from afar. "She's safe. That's all you need to know."

Enzo's top lip twitches with hatred, "How the hell did you find her? Does my father know you're here?"

Harry breathes out a laugh, "Luca is an old hag that has bigger worries than keeping track of a group of boys settling in to their Washington life." Enzo rolls his eyes, "You really thought you could hide the one person who gives me purpose in life? You actually didn't think I'd come looking for her, or better yet find her?"

Enzo loosens his grip on the gun, dropping his arms down to his side with the gun still in hand but no longer aiming, "Honestly I had hope that you wouldn't be that fucking stupid. You really think whatever you're planning is going to work? She's not your Delilah anymore."

Harry takes a step forward, closing the distance. "Oh she isn't? And what exactly is that being based upon?"

Enzo shrugs, "The training that my father and I have orchestrated for her is nothing compared to what you guys dealt with. She's more dangerous than any of you could have ever been. You have no idea what this girl is capable of." He smiles at the images of what he's done to Delilah to shape her into the person she is today.
