Delilah Lavigne

I'm so bored.

I've been sitting in this car just twiddling my thumbs waiting almost an hour for Harry.

Clearly he doesn't know what he's doing if it's taking this long. If he wasn't so stubborn and would just let me help, we would've been in and out—no doubt about it.

I sigh out loud, glancing around the car that used to belong to me.

The memories this car holds comes flooding into my brain like static electricity.

The drivers seat—I would sit there and blast music that I'd sing at the top of my lungs while driving endlessly with no worry and no destination in mind.

The backseats—Harry and I shared so many moments sprawled across those seats.

The center console—Niall broke the handle off of it by jumping into the car through the open window to see if he'd make the landing, he got too confident and his chest landed straight onto it and it snapped. Pretty sure he had the wind knocked out of him but he tried playing it off like it barely hurt.

The dashboard—there's a red stain engraved on it from when Jade was sitting in the passenger seat and rested her feet on top of it to paint her toenails red—when I took a sharp turn, the nail polish spilled all over resulting in us bursting into laughter.

So many memories in this car, yet I feel nothing.

I can't ever trust these people again.

They think they 'saved' me, but they didn't. I was so good at what I did, I worked so hard to get to where I was at.

So much time wasted.

Now I'm in for a lifetime of running because of the target they put on my back.

The second Enzo's men realize that he's dead and I'm missing, they will know I had something to do with it—and now I'm sitting in my old car waiting for Harry to kill our boss.

Awesome.

Ruining my thoughts, I hear a faint ringing sound coming from the building across from me.

I've heard this sound before in training, the building has gone on lockdown.

Harry.

Only he would cause this to happen.

I climb into the drivers seat since the passenger door is blocked by a massive tree and I open the door to step out.

The shoes I'm wearing are Jade's—but they are converse so I can still run.

I run around to the back of the building where I saw Harry go and see glass on the gravel across from me near the far right of the building.

I approach the glass and look up to see a window completely shattered, the ringing gets louder the more I get closer to the opening.

An alarm is blaring from inside the building. The lights are flashing with the sound of the alarm.

It must have been turned on by someone who knew Harry was there and wanted to put the building on lockdown.

Clearly they didn't manage to find security to guard this broken window.

I grab the concrete ledge that's lining the window and pull myself up, resting my forearms on the ledge and kicking my legs over and into the building.

I can feel shards of glass pricking my stomach from the position I'm in but I'm short, I can't just launch myself over this window without touching anything.
