Latula Pyrope debated her options momentarily, as she stared at the decline call option on her phone as it rang, Mituna's picture taking up the screen. She sighed rather loudly, sitting there slowly sliding her gaze, as well as her finger to the accept call option, and slid it across. Mituna's voice filled the line with a happy, "Hellooo 'Tula!" she found herself wanting to be upset at him. She also found herself to be  unable to. Latula smiled at the phone bringing it up to her ear, leaning against the building of a coffee shop she had been frequenting, skateboard safetly tucked in her arm.

"Hey 'Tunababe." on the other end of the phone, she's sure Mituna is sharing her smile though ten times wider.

"Whats up?!" Always seems he's so happy. She giggled.
"Just got done with breakfast and skating around with some friends. You?"
"Actully, I wunna talk to ya."
Traces of her smile faded quickly, she knew it was going to happen. She had been expecting this long before recent events.
"About what, Mituna?"
"Er- about Sollux."
"What about Sollux."
"He says you took somethn frum 'im."
"I did. But it was mine to begin with."
"Oh..."

The line went silent for what seems like forever. Latula shuffled slowly, walking away from the shop and staring downwards at her feat, phone still held to her ear. Mituna leaned against the deck with a small frown, and rubbed his eyes. He bit his lip trying to gather his thoughts before speaking once more.
"Why did Sollux take it then?"
"He had it to begin with I suppose...But It was mine. He wouldn't give it back, so I took it when I had the chance and...It hurt him." Latula didn't realize she was crying till she saw the tear land on her arm. She rubbed her eyes furiously and took a shakey breath.
"Latula? what wahadit?"
"I'm sorry?"
"The thingye, what was it. What did you take?"
This was it. The very end of everything she had done. Everything she had tried so hard to get would come crumbling down around her, Mituna would leave and go back to Sollux. She would be over.
"..."
"Latula?"
"It was you, Mituna."
"Me?"
"We both love you..."
"Oh."
Latula rubbed her arm as if to console herself.
"I- I was there for you for forever. I was everything for you, I'm in love with you, and then you went and "fell in love" with him instead...Then you hit your head and forgot about him. You came back to me. Because I love you Mituna. Thats why I did it, I love you, and I'm so sorry I never meant to hurt Sollux. I never meant to hurt you."

It was Mituna's turn to go quiet, brows furrowed in thought, his hand clentching and unclentching with nervous energy as he processed the information he had been given.
"It's...Okay. I think."
"Mituna, please please don't leave me..."
"I don think I will...I love you L'tula."

"I love you too, 'Tuna."
Mituna nodded, though Latula couldn't see, and hung up the phone. He went back inside ignoring Damien's presence all together and going over to his father.
"Dad wake up."
"Hey, leave him alone Mituna. He's trying to sleep."
"Damien hush. Dad wake UP." Mituna poked his fathers face as Damien huffed at him and gently shook Simon.
"hh...what?"
"Wheres Sollux's hiding spot."
"Ths not for you to know."
"Dad this is serious, I need to talk to 'em. Tell me!"

Simon blinked a few times rubbing his eyes looking up at Damien and over at Mituna with a frown. He scanned him as if to clarify that it was indeed as important as he made it seem and nodded.
"Theres a treehouse in the woods beside the house. you and Latula built it last year. He hides at the very very top."
With that, Mituna ran out of the house grabbing a jacket and making a dash for the woods. Damien Ampora frowned and pat Simon's head gently.
"Think he's going to fix things?"
"I can only hope, Damien. I can only hope."
