"So, you're telling me that you actually used to like Seojun?!?"

Jongseob and Daeun huffed at Jiung's sentence.

"What? I'm just shocked..." He trailed off, pouting.

"Oh course that's the one thing you understand from that entire story." Jongseob rolled his eyes.

"Okay, but guys, on a real note, Jongseob isn't safe from them in the slightest. They know where we live. So they could easily take him away."

"Kim Daeun!" Jongseob exclaimed, "Why in the world are you acting as if I'm the only important thing in this situation. And it's not like we have a choice but to live there. No one would want to live with us."

Daeun sighed, knowing that the younger was correct. Then Jiung spoke up.

"Well, you guys can stay with me! It will be nice to have some company." He warmly smiled at the two.

"R-really?" Daeun stuttered, shocked that Jiung would even offer that.

"Mhm, anything for my friends."

For some reason, something struck a chord in Daeun's heart. Nonetheless, she stood up, smiling, and pulled Jiung into a warm hug.

Jiung was smiling like crazy behind her back. And poor Jongseob was just a witness to it all.

"Jiung! Thank you so much! We could not live without you!" She hugged him tightly, and he did the same. He clearly was blushing.

It was about thirty seconds later, and Jongseob had enough of their lovey-dovey, mushy stuff.

"Alright, alright you two." He pushed them apart, "Go do this on your own time. I'm sure you both like each other by now."

Both of the classmate's eye widened by Jongseob's sentence.

"What are you on about? Liking each other?" Daeun was truly confused.

"Gosh, you're so dense." Jongseob rolled his eyes before walking towards Jiung, "Anyway, thanks Jiung for the offer." Jongseob smiled.

"Of course. But you guys should probably start packing your stuff since it's getting late." Jiung replied.

"Yeah, you're right." Daeun agreed, "Seob, let's go pack all necessities so that they don't think that we actually left if they come back."

Jongseob nodded.

"Okay, Jiung. We'll be back later." Daeun waved at the boy.

He smiled, "Okay. You guys stay safe."

They all exchanged waves, before the siblings left their soon to be home.

"Welcome back, guys!" Jiung opened up the door for the two of them.

They both smiled at the orange-haired boy.

"Thanks again Jiung-hyung. I'll never forget this! You're going to be an amazing roomate!" Jongseob said before plopping himself on the couch that was in the main area.

"Don't mention it. It's the least I could have done for you guys. You cured my loneliness! And you guys deserve it."

The siblings thanked him for the nth time. Then Jiung showed them both to their rooms.

Jongseob's was first, then Daeun's.

"Woah, it's so pretty." Her eyes sparkled while examining her room.

Jiung was just admiring her.

Daeun set her bags and suitcase down, "Jiung?"

"Yes?" He snapped out of his staring-fest.

She walked over to him, hugging him for the second time that day.

"I don't think I could ever thank you enough. You're an angel. Do you know that?"

These words made the male blush, "T-thanks." As he hugged her back, Daeun spoke again.

"Ji? Is there anything I could do to repay you for this? I mean, anything at all?" Daeun asked, wanting to do a good deed to make things at least close to even.

Jiung pondered on it for a while, unwillingly letting go of the hug. He finally talked, "When we're at school, just tell me is Seojun is causing you any problems." He continued, "And play along with anything I do, okay?"

Daeun smiled, nodded, "I got it."

The next morning, Jiung had made breakfast for himself, Daeun, and Jongseob. After they ate, he encouraged the two of them to go on and head to school while he washed up the dishes.

And that is what happened.

Finally, Jiung was done with all the dishes, and headed out to go to school.

He was really excited to see his crush. He was even smiling.

But it faded really fastly when he saw Seojun messing with her again.

"Seojun, leave me alone." Daeun was feeling hurt and annoyed with what Seojun was saying.

He kept calling her really bad names, such as "whore" and "prostitute."

"No. Obviously you want the attention because of what you're wearing. Do you expect me to believe that you just want to be left alone? Your outfit is so revealing!"

Daeun was wearing a shirt that was more on the cropped side, simply because of the hotter weather. She did not wish for any attention from anyone. She just wanted peace.

That's when Jiung stepped in.

"If she told you to stop, then stop. Leave my girlfriend alone, idiot."
