The two of them arrived at a beach.

"Woah.. this place is amazing!" Daeun's jaw dropped in awe.

Jiung chuckled, "Tch, why are you acting like you've never been to the beach before?"

Daeun just stayed silent, fiddling with her bracelets.

Jiung gasped, "Oh.. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that."

Daeun smiled,"It's fine! At least I can be here now."

"Great!" Jiung returned the smile, "There's a beach shop right across the street. I'll go buy some things for us to make sandcastles!" He said to her.

"Okay!" Daeun said before Jiung went across to street to buy some small buckets and a small shovel.

He came back as quickly as he could before crossing the street once again, and bringing Daeun to the shore.

Jiung excitedly sat down next to the water line, motioning for Daeun to do the same. She did, and Jiung felt like a total kid for making sandcastles. But he did it for the girl right beside him.

They began packing the slightly wet sand into the bucket. If given an audio of the moment, all you would hear would be the water waves crashing against one another, and the two exchanging giggles.

"I think it's ready!" Jiung said before flipping the bucket, "You should take it off, since you've never made a sandcastle before." Jiung scootched over to give the girl more room.

She obeyed, and carefully released the bucket, revealing an almost-perfect sand castle base.

"This is unexpectedly therapeutic." Daeun smiled at the boy next to her.

"I agree. I'm glad I came here with you." He smiled back, an idea popping up in his head ,"Let's write our initial's next to the castle! For memories?"

Daeun smiled, "Sure!"

With that the two wrote 'D+J' in the sand after finishing all the towers for the sand castle. Their smiles couldn't not be contained.

Then, Daeun looked up at the sky.

"Hey, the sun it setting!" She pointed at the sky that was swirling with colors.

Jiung scooted closer to Daeun before he spoke, "C-can I take a picture of us doing a hand heart?" He shyly asked, scratching his nape in the process.

Daeun just smiled, putting her hand in the shape of a half-heart. With that action, Jiung grinned, pulling out his phone. He opened the camera app and mimicked Daeun's pose.

The picture that he took was quite cute, the two of them holding up a heart as the sun set.

Jiung was happy that he was able to be in that moment with his crush.

On the other hand, Daeun was confused.

She was confused as to why she kept catching herself staring at Jiung.

She thought that the way the different hues and colors of the sky captured his face, made him look perfect.

Then, something clicked in her brain.

She had always thought that he looked perfect.

And she couldn't help but think about how she would feel heat rise to her cheeks whenever Jiung would smile at her.

But what really put the cherry on top was when Jiung carefully put her hand in his. He couldn't help but smile, and Daeun was just staring at him.

She felt such an unfamiliar feeling in her stomach. As if her stomach was dropping.

'Is this what people call butterflies?'

Daeun blushed, but she just could not look away from the boy who was holding her hand.

And from that moment on, she knew that she liked Choi Jiung.

The two arrived back to the house late at night.

They walked inside the mansion, confused as to why all of the lights were out, because they were sure that Jongseob was home.

Jiung walked over to the living room light switch for him and Daeun to be able to see around the house.

But when he turned it on, he saw a figure on the couch.

"And just where have you two been, hm?" Jongseob said.

Daeun's heart dropped. At first, she thought he was some type of intruder.

"I have been waiting ever since 3:45 for some kind of company, and you two went on a date?!" Jongseob stood up, walking towards the both of them.

"Jongseob, you're crazy. A date?" Daeun asked, chuckling.

"Don't laugh, Kim Daeun." Then he went to whisper in her ear, "I know that you strongly wish that it was a date." He said before running away, knowing that Daeun would chase him.

"Kim Jongseob!" She ran after the younger boy who was running and screaming for his life.

Jiung just laughed at the siblings' antics.

He wished that his family was like that.
