Part 18: Kidnappings in New York

Fox and Brooklyn did some Lamaze together but privately. It helped to aid more of Brooklyn's breathing and find new exercises to do that wouldn't be too strenuous on his body. The exercises were based on yoga.

As time progressed more, the weight of the twins increased, and they were taking more of a toll on Brooklyn's back especially. His ankles would also swell out if he was on his feet too long. He had to resort to sitting down with his feet raised.

After his next exam, Sato said that his son's heart still had the defect in it and likely the baby would need to have it corrected right after his birth. And even though Brooklyn knew that Sato was well practiced in this area of expertise, he was still worried about his son.

"What about my daughter?" Brook asked in concern.

"The girl looks perfectly healthy." Sato replied.

"Why would this have happened to my son?" Brook asked.

"It could happen to any baby, Brooklyn, but I promise it's fixable." Sato stated.

Brooklyn also felt a cramp in his back, wincing. "You could have a massage done on your body to help with painful muscles. But it just takes avoiding having your stomach massaged and you can't lay on it." Sato declared.

"I bet it would feel great, but who would do it for me? I don't have anyone who could do it for me. If I had a mate, it would be different." Brook said.

"What about Angela or Lexington?"

"I doubt Broadway would want his mate touching me like that." Brook replied. "But yeah, maybe I could get Lex to do it for me. He likes to help me relax and he likes to feel the twins move inside me."

"Have you tried looking up names for them yet?" Sato asked.

"No. I know I need to do that." Brook stated.

"I'm sure you'll pick some really nice names." Sato gave him his vote of confidence.

"Thank you."

Later, Brooklyn approached Lex apprehensively with the request if he would give his body a massage to help him out with bodily pains.

"I'd be glad to help you out there, Brooklyn." Lex grinned widely.

"I might like them best before I have my nightly nap." Brook declared.

"That's fine." Lex replied.

"Let's go to my room." Brook said and Lex went along with him.

Getting on the bed together, Brooklyn laid down and Lex sat beside him. He began massaging Brooklyn's body to try to help him relax. He had some tight muscles, especially in his shoulders and back. Lex could only massage his back if his red bro sat up or laid on his sides. Brooklyn sure felt the happiness tingles of the massage as Lex went on massages his arms, legs, tail, and wings. He also gave a gentle belly rub over the twins.

The massage worked wonders for the pregnant male. It eventually put him to sleep. Lex was glad to be of help to help his brother relax. He knew Brook got tired so easily these days.

When Brooklyn later went into his seventh month of pregnancy, there started to be cases of kidnappings of young babies going on in the city. It popped up on the news and it alarmed Elisa and Hudson. Elisa was on these cases a lot. She just hoped Brooklyn didn't see this news. She had a feeling in how he would feel right now if hearing about it.

Brook would likely want to go after the perpetrators, but in his condition, Goliath and the others would all forbid him from going anywhere.

The clan all spoke in private about it and were not to let Brooklyn watch the news right now. It was for his own good. The clan would help take care of the issue as much as possible. Elisa and Matt were also helping out in these matters.
